And we know Edo Tensei does not revive characters in their prime but based on age of death, due to one of my favorite characters.

That is why it is impossible for Madara to know Nagato. Unless they really did meet in the after life.

Edit: By the way, anyone notice that Black Zetsu is kicking ass. He doesn't look like he has done anything but Mizukage and the others look tired.

Edit 2: Lol just realized something. My whole Tobi is a guy named "Nagato Uchiha" can mean another thing: He is a probable suspect for the person who killed Hashirama. Would explain how he got cells. 😛

Edit 3: Oh yeah, and in regards to the splitting theory...it's a nice idea I guess but it doesn't fly with me personally. First, I'd have to assume that they'd split their soul in two. Which I simply don't buy. Second, Muu is the only confirmed "Splitter" but his split clones at least act like one another. Madara and Tobi are quite different actually.

wow, so apparently Madara really was dead. sure as hell didn't see that coming. but if he's dead then that means it can't be Madara behind the mask. like you said, theauraangel, he's not the type of guy to do that, which means it may be someone close to him or something like that.

This was the same line of thinking that I was thinking but could not quite forumulate a logic thought based on real events.

That's why I asked for someone to please explain. 😄

But, yes, Madara appears QUITE young in his resurrection. Around Kakashi's age or even younger.

I was thinking that that Madara would have to have died shortly after fighting Hashirama. He's wearing the armor and everything.

I'm still betting on the a clone split version to explain this whole mess. It explains everything without holes if we assume that Madara split shortly after he fought Hashirama.

It still does not explain the Nagato thing...

Here's my explanation about Tobi being Obito?

Tobi is an anagram of Obit...

But in Japanese, you add an "ohhh" or a "oooo" sound at the end of words than end in consonants. That's just how the japanese roll.

So we end up with Obito...

And that makes Tobi and Kakashi brothers in eyes! (lol)

But WAIT!

That does not explain JACK CRAP! It makes no SENSE. Obito would have to have Madara's eye. That eye should have gone blind due to the sharingan's effects. More likely, it is really Izuna's eye that "Tobi" is using.

So Obito would be using Izuna's eye...and it would still be going blind.

SO what gives?

I will still stick to Madara being two beings at the moment. It makes the most sense and has the least amount of holes.

There's also the explanation of Tobi actually being the clone (and someone supported that, earlier) due to it being able to regrow arms n'stuff.

There's several theories out there. The "Two Madara's" one makes the most sense, at the moment. Yours is credible, of course, but doesn't work for everything.

Pretty much. This is why I said I was stumped as to how Madara would know Nagato. Of course, until I assumed that Nagato was able to contact Madara somehow.

That said, him talking to Madara in the afterlife is kind of possible. We had Kakashi chatting with his father in some sort of Limbo.

That....is pushing it. Kakashi and his dear old Dad had some sort of connection. Nagato and Madara really wouldn't.
I wouldn't say one and the same though. Though it is possible Nagato Uzumaki was Nagato Uchiha's bastard child. Gave him the Rinnegan.

I think some strange effect caused Madara to split into a young and old version, and that is why the current one appears young.

Minor thing I'll comment on: Sai's tiger sealing move was pretty cool too.

Kakashi said 3 left of the bad guys he was fighting. I asumme Mangetsu is one of them but any thoughts on who they would be?

Of the swordsmen... I'm going to bet on Pirate.

I'd place money on lightning chick personally out of the swordsmen besides Mangetsu. Though Pirate guy is not a bad choice.
