If it wasn't for those above reasons, I wouldn't care about him being overpowered. I actually might think he's cool. His character was written to be like that so we WOULDN'T like him. We would get angry with him and frustrated. I dislike his character because that's the way it was intended. If you still like his character after the author has gone through great lengths to make you as the reader dislike him, then you aren't normal. I like to root for the bad guy, yes.
