And Lee tended to open up the Gates for whatever reason. Which does give Sakura an opening.

To be fair, if he does open the gates, Sakura's done for. She has not shown anything to indicate she could continually dodge that kind of speed. Sasuke's base speed was too fast for her. Lee with his Gates open should be faster.

If he opens the 3rd gate or up, I'd agree. But that compounds a lot of damage to his own body. If he does what he always does, which is use the Lotus first, Sakura could escape it and then end Lee with one punch.

Sakura is simply the more useful against other opponents. 😛

Doubt she could escape it. She's great at evasion, but she doesn't have the reactions to dodge Lee.

Eh, they both have their good and bad match-ups. Sakura's nearly as linear as Lee is anyway. Using a sleeping gas bomb on people who are fighting each other does not change that.

Still, I take it we agree that Neji is better than the both of them, and so is #4? awesome

Neji has his rotation defense thing, which is nice. I think it'd even knock away Sakura's clouds of gas.

That, and the fact that Neji is better than Sakura is at close-range, which is where Sakura needs to be in order to take down her opponent.

A thrown poison kunai or a breath from a gas bomb will do as well, but Neji's very good at stopping projectiles

Yeah. He also does not have to use his Kaiten to stop a kunai or blow away poison gas.

Weirdly enough, I wonder why she did not throw her kunai at Sasuke. Dude could not see.

At what point?

When first showing up, odds of evasion are too high. When dropping down at him... well, the back shot she could've done personally had she not hesitated.

I figure it's just by hand is a much more sure kill. Deeper, more poison, quicker death, no final retaliation attacks.

Isn't Sasuke immune/resistent to poison though? He'd still bleed a lot sure but didn't he build up some immunity due to Orochimaru training?

A thrown Kunai would penetrate just as well as a stab would.
