hm not sure really, Arena, Raids/Instant and BG are the serious things usually, but you could have some fun making up your own games with friends in WoW, your own events with gold prizes within the guild and what not, the world is large and theres a fair amount to do in it so you could probably invent your own fun.
i used to have naked races with people across azeroth as a lvl 1, and there were prizes, as well as guild duels to work out the best duelist of the guild.
Yes I did try to organize some races, but many of the guild wanted to raid etc, so finding good timespot was hard.
Also, I would perhaps enjoy WoW I found a Guild that only did World PvP raids, that's the most fun thing in WoW, but Blizzard keep making it more and more crappier as Civilians spawn guards (or perhaps they changed that when they made them not count as DKs?

my personal goal / expectation for this game, would be if all specs of all classes could enjoy this game equally.. but its simply not so
I dont want invincibility to all classes.. I want to be able to use my 2 whole heals while maybe getting silenced twice tops (not counting interrupts)
obviously you dont play a healer, so you could give a shit less.. amirite?

even a trip to 7-Eleven can wind up being pricey.. or the restaurant / diner.. etc
