"Feel like it, sir. Sonia's told me so much about you two, and I've read a lot too. Nice to meet you in person." Descartes said. It was obvious he and Sonia were siblings. They could pass as twins almost.

Elrohir smiled. He liked Descartes already. "So, what's the age differance between you two?"

"Four years." Sonia answered.

Descartes smiled and nodded. "I was happy to know that Mom would be bringing home a little sister for me."

"I don't know what that's like." Elrohir confessed. "Maik's older." Suddenly Elrohir got an idea. Whether or not Descartes would go for it, he didn't know. "Would you like to meet her?" he asked

Descartes nodded. "Very much so. She seems interesting." he says. "But Sonia has to come too."

AS if Elrohir didn't want her coming with him anyway. Elrohir readily agreed to the idea and started walking with them back to St. Mungo's, slightly dissapointed he couldn't walk next to Sonia this time, as he couldn't claim he was protecting her from her brother.

Descartes chuckled as Sonia told him some joke. They seemed to get along fine.

Elorhir was glad that Sonia's brother was around. He seemed to cheer her up. When they arrived at St. Mungo's, they found a confused looking healer standing in front of Maik's room, holding a goblet of potion, obviously wondering how to get in.
"You need some help?" Elrohir asked. Something thudded into the other side of the door, and the healer nodded quickly. "She's been doing that all morning. I can't go in."

Sonia looked at Descartes. She was a little scared that Maik was upset. She took a deep breath and watched Elrohir. He always seemed to know how to help Maik.

Elrohir took the poition from the healer and knocked on the door. An answering thump came from the other side. He carefully opened the door, just as a blue feathered arrow came shooting out over his head, burying itself in the wall on the other side of the hallway. "Maik! What are you doing?!"
The door flung open, revealing a worried looking Maik. "Elrohir! I'm sorry! Did I hit you?"
"No." Elrohir replied grumpily. "What are you doing?"
"Entertaining myself." Maik said quickly, rubbing at her left eye, not before Elrohir saw that the iris had turned white. "Who's here with you?" She asked. Elrohir looked behind him, and suddenly remembered that Descartes and Sonia were there. "Oh. This is Sonia's older brother, Descartes."

Descartes nodded. "Hello, Ms. Maik." he said politely bowing. "Sonia's told me so much aout you. It's nice to meet you in person." he smiled and held his hand out for Maik to shake.

Maik grinned broadly and shook Descartes hand. "Pleasure's all mine." She glanced at the poition Elrohir had gotten from the healer and scowled. "Am I supposed to drink THAT?"

Sonia tried to stiffle her laughter behind her hands. "WHat is it?" she asked.

"Something the healer was TRYING to give her." Elrohir explained.
"I'm not drinking that." Maik said stoutly. "It's disgusting."
Elrohir stubbernly held the goblet out. "Drink it. Or I won't visit for the rest of the week."
Maik looked positively shocked at this, clearly thinking he was out of line. " You wouldn't!"
"I would. Drink it." Elrohir insisted.
Maik managed to deliberate for a few seconds longer before finally giving in and drinking the potion. "There. Happy?"

Sonia shook her head. "Are we like that?" she asked Descartes who laughed.

Maik made a face at Elrohir and threw the goblet back to him.
"What was that for, anyway?" He asked.
Maik looked distinctly sheepish and said vaguely "To help me walk. I've been dumping it in that plant all week."
She waved her hand at the plant, which had sprouted legs and was running into the walls.

Sonia giggled softly. "Poor thing." she said.

"You put your potion in the PLANT?!" Elrohir shouted in disbelief.
"Yes?" Maik said weakly. "I SAID it tastes disgusting."
Elrohir was beside himself in confusion how was she supposed to get better doing stuff like this?
"Don't be so grumpy." Maik added, and a small thundercloud formed above Elrohir's head and began rumbling quietly.
"You know I hate it when you do that." Elrohir grumbled

Sonia hid behind Descartes. SHe knew it could get ugly. "Um, we can go, if you like." she says nervously.

"It's fine." Elrohir assured her. "Maik won't skip her potion anymore, will you Maik?"
Maik formed a snowball in her hand and tossed it lightly up and down. "Maybe."
