(hey Tela! glad you're back!)

(Thanks)

Sonia ran out the door. She was acting on impulse, but that was normal for the Huberts. She was going to find Maik and find out what was wrong.

Elrohir didn't move. He had realized that, for the first time, he was unable to help his sister. and it was not a comforting thought.

Descartes walked over to him. "It'll be okay."

Meanwhile, Sonia was riding a train to london. She had only her backpack full of necessities.

Elrohir smiled sadly at Descartes. "yes. It just might."

Maik poured herself some coffee and mixed a generous amount of firewhiskey with it. She took it and sat in her armchair, staring into the fire, her hand resting on the picture of her and Alex.

Sonia knew she wouldn't be able to find Maik without help. Closing her eyes she contrated.

The flames in the fireplace took shape of Sonia's head. "Maik!" called her voice. It came from the fire.

Maik started and almost spilled her coffee all over herself. "Sonia? What is your head doing in my fire?"

"Maik, I'll explain when I find you, that is if you tell me where you are." Sonia said. Her eyes looked concerened.

Maik frowned slightly. "My apartment. Why does it matter?"

"Because I'm coming to see you. That's why." Sonia said. "And please don't run. We need to talk." Her voice sounded desperate like that of a confused little girl calling for her mothers advice on something.

Run. Maik didn't usually run from anything, but there was a first time for everything... Still, if Sonia really needed to talk to her then she was willing to do so. "I'm not going anywhere." Maik assured her. "Come on over."

Sonia smiled. "Thanks" and with that the fire turned back to normal. At least twenty miuntes later Sonia knocks on the door to Maik's apartment.

Maik rose and opened the door, carefull not to let Aslan escape. "HI." she said simply and stepped back to let her in.

Sonia stepped in. She looked like hell. She was soaked from a mysterious rain storm. Shivering she smiles, "hi, I'm glad I found you. You left without letting me say goodbye."

"Sorry. I....was in a rush." maik explained. "You want a dry cloak or something?"

Sonia shook her head. "No Thanks." she said eyeing the couch ut waited until Maik asked her to sit.

Maik shrugged and got another cup of coffee for Sonia. "You want to sit down?" She indicated the couch, which Aslan was occupying

Sonia nodded. She made sure she didn't sit on Aslan as she sat down. "Thank you."

Maik made herself comfortable in her chair again and looked curiously at Sonia. "What did you want to talk about?"
