Sonia moved out of the way of the spell. "I refuse to give up so easily."

Maik smiled. THAT was more like it.

(well, the trial IS over.)
Maik shoved Sonia out of the way and stretched out her hand, sending a wall of ice shooting up between them and Fudge's minions. She was in a hurry, so it was jagged like an iceburg.

Sonia smiled. "Thanks." she mouthed looking at a very embarrassed and defeated Descartes.

Given the circumstances, Maik gave a weak smile in return, but she was still worried. On the other side of the ice, the men were trying to break through, so the Huberts didn't have much time. "You need to leave, while you still can." She told them. Elrohir nodded his agreement. Neither of the Huberts had their wands, and were defenceless. Maik and Elrohir could only hold Fudge off for so long. The Huberts had to escape quickly.

Sonia nodded. "Okay." She grabbed Descartes's hand pulling him to his feet and the two ran for dear life. They ran until they were safely away from Fudge and the rest of the ministry.

maik and Elrohir watched them go then turned their attention back to the wall of ice, which was rapidly breaking.Maik held her wand in one hand, her other was engulfed in flames and clenched into a fist. "play time." she said grimly. maik didn't like confrontation. she thrived on it.

Courtney Higgs watched from the doorway. She leaned against the doorframe. She smirked knowing fudge would loose.

A crack appeared in the ice, and ruptured into a hole. Elrohir shot a spell at the man coming through, and Maik's fist connected with another. They were streaming through the hole like ants, and Maik and Elrohir simply couldn't hold them all. Elrohir stepped back and shot a massive concussive blast from his wand, slamming the men back into the wall of ice. Maik grabbed one, slammed him into the wall, and socked him in the jaw until he begged for mercy. Slowly but surely, Maik and Elrohir was able to drive them back behind the wall, which Maik then repaired again.

Sonia looked at Descartes. They were at the Higgs.

maik wiped some blood from the corner of her mouth and wiped it on her robes. They couldn't hold them back forever. Cracks appeared in the ice once again, but this time, in multiple places. "How long can you hold?" Elrohir asked her.
"As long as you." Maik replied, eyeing the ice.
"That bad, eh?" Elrohir said, and the wall of ice crashed down.

she stood there alone..her golden brown wavy hair glowing behind her..she was shy ...she could see others but didnt want them to see her..she wore a pair of baggy trousers and a long sleeved gothic top covered by a long leather coat..she smiled and looked aroudn with her blue/green eyes looking for anything at all.....she stayed deep inside the shadows ..watching life go on...and staying out of peoples way"

Elrohir thought he saw someone in the corner of his eye, someone in the shadows, but he quickly turned his attention back to the ice. It crashed to the ground, a jagged piece catching him across the chest and knocking him to the ground.

Courtney rushed forward and in a flash of black robes stood in between fudge and the other ministers blocking them from Elrohir and Maik.

Fudge stood in awe as he saw the familiar robes. A pale hand ripped the huge billowing cloak off and through it into the air. It encircled the three and before Fudge could reach them they were gone.

Pop. . .Courtney appeared in her house in front of Sonia and Descartes. Beside her was Elrohir and Maik.
