The Yule Ball

The nurse sighed.

Descartes looked at Maik. "Sonia had a dream of the death eater's memories. One where he is. . ."

"Descartes!" Sonia shrieked. "You promised!"

Covering his ears Descartes cronged. "Fine, whatever. I won't tell her. You have to stay."

"NO!" Sonia said. "I'm leaving. ELrohir said it was just ONE night, that's it."

Maik turned her gaze to Sonia. "Which memory?"
She shot a glance at Descartes, trying to decifer his thoughts.

"It wasn't a memory." Snia lied. "It was just a nightmare."

"Please don't lie to me." Maik said. "Descartes said you saw something. What was it?"

"I don't want to get anyone into trouble."

"Why would anyone get into trouble?" Maik asked, frowning slightly.

"In her dream the death eater saw people killed."

Maik nodded patiently. "Yes, he would have alot of memories like that. But who was being killed?"

Sonia shook her head. She hadn't even told Descartes.

Descartes sighs. "I couldn't get that out of her, but I'm sure a certain guy we both know could probably pry it out of her."

"NO!" Sonia growled. "You said you wouldn't tell ANYONE who works at the ministry, and you told Ms. Maik. I certainly don't want Elrohir to think I've gone crazy."

Maik laughed slightly. "If Elrohir hasn't decided I'm crazy yet, I'll think you'll be fine." She looked at Sonia gravely. "But you should talk to him."

Sonia looked at Maik. "The Burstllins." she whispered and looked at the woman. "I saw their death." the funny thing was, they were killed the night before.

Maik frowned. This was starting to worry her. "Are they the only ones you've seen die?"

Sonia looked at Descartes. "No, The Jenkins, and the minister's sister-in-law."

"That's all?" Maik asked, feeling somewhat relieved.

Sonia nodded. "ALl that I can remember who they are."

Maik sighed and rubbed her forehead. "So what's with the needle then?"
