Maik nodded and looked out the window to pas the time. Though she thought she should probably strike up a conversation of some sort with Descartes.

Descartes smiled. About twenty minutes later the cabby came to a stop in front of a heavly forested area. There was one pathway but it was so long where it led could not be seen.. "We'll have to walk from here." he says blushing slightly.

"Fine by me." Maik replied. She looked around, taking in her surroundings. Wherever they were going, it seemed pretty isolated. Just the way she would like it.

Descartes smiled and offered his arm to Maik. "May I?"

Maik returned the smile and took his arm. "Absolutely."

Descartes smiled as he led Maik through the trail making sure she didn't trip or anything. He smiled when the small cabin came into view. "It's a lot smaller than I remembder."

"I like it." Maik said with approval. "What's it like inside?"

Descartes laughed softly. "I think you should make that decision for yourself." he says taking the key out of his pants pocket and unlocking the door. Inside was cozy and quanit. It had all the modern luxuries. "Ladies first."

Maik swept a low bow, nearly falling over. "Thank you. I shall now inspect the premisis."
She stepped into the house and started looking around at everything.

Descartes smiled. He shut the door behind him and stood in the middle of the livingroom area.

"It's nice. I like it." Maik said and peeked around a corner. "Where's the bedroom?"

Elrohir walked over to the door behind the livingroom and opened it. "My mom was planning on making the bed a whole lot bigger and lavish but my da would have none of it."

"It's fine." Maik reassured him. She bounced on it a few times to show him she approved of it.

Descartes kinda snickered. "Very comfortable." he says not sharing the secret about THAT bed.

Maik raised an eyebrow and pointed a finger at him. "What are you sniggering at?"

"Nothing." he said smiling trying to contain his laughter. "It is a very. . .sturdy bed for sure."

Maik jumped off the bed and tried to glare at Descartes. "Not funny."
she tried to hold back her laughter. "Not funny!"

"You do not even know what I mean." he defended playfully.

"Suuure I don't." Maik said, sticking her tongue out at him.

Descartes laughed softly and sat on the bed.
