"Should get you some more then." Maik said with a mischievious grin and sped up again

"EEk." Descartes yelped.

Maik laughed and skidded around another corner, going even lower than before. "Got more bugs in there now?" She asked Descartes

"No, but I definitely knwo I don't like these things."

"Now why is that?" Maik asked innocently

"Oh I wonder." Descartes said playfully.

"Surely it isn't MY fault!" Maik laughed and she slowed to a more reasonable speed.

Descartes chuckled. "Maybe, maybe not."

"Such a difinitive answer." Maik said, elbowing him

Descartes laughed. "You know me."

"Not as well as I'd like.." Maik said half to herself as they turned onto her street.

"What was that?" Descartes asked. He had only caught part of it.

"Nothing." Maik said quickly, blushing slightly.

Descartes smiled. "Okay." he says cheesing big time.

Maik drove through her gate and pulled to a stop inside. She pulled off her helmet and looked back at Descartes. "So? What did you think?"

Descartes laughed. "Dangerous but fun, I like it." he says taking his helmet off and running his hand through his hair.

Maik laughed and ruffled Descartes' hair. "Awww! Descartes has helmet hair!"

Descartes smiled and leaned into his touch. "If you could just scratch right there." he teased.

Maik laughed and obliged him, scratching his head

A small, satisfied smile crossed Descartes lips. "mmm, right there, thanks." he says whimpering like a pup.
