so are you saying the land before time 347982374 doesnt suck because its a sequal and reminds us that they still are making those movies??? The first land before time was good, the others suck

the first 2 alien movies and both pred movies were good. This is absolute garbage.

I just saw this movie today and I thought it was good, by the way it was the first Alien or Predator movie i've seen. Plus I plan to buy this DVD when it comes out.

Too busy with "T2". I think "Predator 2" is somewhat underrated. I like the fact that the movie seemed a little more surreal, being set in Cal-ee-for-nee-ya.

It's really a period film, anyway, kinda tinkering with the L.A. drug culture at it's highest point. Yeah. it is a little hokey, but how can you not laugh at a Predator running through some old ladies apartment, then seeing her come out with a broom in self defense? 😆

Yeah, Calling this movie absolute garbage is like spitting in the face's of the previous great filmakers that gave us thes babies. I say this because Anderson Tried to honor this as much as possible. He knew what people wanted and he did his damndest to give it to us, which he did very well. All the same time including referecences from all the greatests like ALien, ALiens, Alien vs predator, the first published comic book series, PRedator, Predator 2, and Yeah the video game aliens versus predator 2.(this was the greatest shout out message to the fans that any movie as ever produced)

So i mean It is bewilldering to me that you people can sit there and bash this film for giving you everything you wnated. The movie was aliens vs predator, we got just that. and much more in referencing the storyline, and camera presence. that these two creatures require a meticulous kind of filmmaking to pull off their prsense. To give them presence and atmosphere, and it did just that.

Oh yeah, having Arnold in the sequal wouldnt have done any damn better for that movie, it may have made a litle more sense of characters, but the movie was stil a decent sequal. You people bit*ch to much man.

I'm not a predator fanboy or anything but uh........Predator 2 did suck pretty hard. It's right up there with Alien Ressurection.

dude, you obviously know nothing about what your are talking about. I mean really. Check your facts before you bit*ch and moan about somthing you know nothing about. Paul anderson designed the script for this movie, he is anything but hollywood. He does movies his way and through the fans voice. Well he answered the fans voice with AvP. I think this is the greatest thing that could of ever happend to the alien franchise, after the travesty that was Alien resurresction, and the subpar flick of alien 3.. MAybe the holes that really need filling, are in the heads of people like you. I mean i dont know i could be wrong, i have just been a fan for some fifteen years of my life.

I loved Alien Resurrection 🙁 the relationship between Ripley and Ryders character was fantastic.

i just also thought the most impotant aspect of this movie being good, was that there was no ripley Imean yeah., this guy defaintly new what he was doing.

There were a few good scenes in Resurrection, but overall it just stunk. Which is kinda how I felt sitting throught AVP. I won't get into Predator 2...that's a film that either ppl hate it or love it.

I can't possibley have bad taste, I love all sorts of films from all kinds of genres thank you both good amazing films, and also films that people can't stand. I happen to like all four Alien films. Not equally though, but that aspect of Resurrection was why I enjoyed the film.

I like nearly every film I see, not all the same, but I usually find something in a film I like. Rarely I hate a movie fully, like I have said in other topics.

I have extremely fabulous taste in films. 🙂

Predator 2 was fine if you just wanan watch another Predator kill a bunch of people, thats all it was, And of course you get the sneak Cameo of the alien skull, yea!

I am just going to wait until I see it, but then I just can't wait for the version on dvd that was originally what Anderson wanted.

does the fact of it being PG-13 ruin it at all? that really bugged me for some reason I'm still not aware of

well i loved all alien and preds movie, even though i could see there flaws clearly. true pred 2 wasn't great but all i wanted was another pred movie with a pred in it so i got what i wanted. second i think all alien movies were good other then the last. i didn't like that new gay creater thing. but seeing the aliens with a newer look was injoyable.
