Rosebloom, that IS bashing, and thay is all there is to it- you have been told so officially and that is that. And I stand by what I say- you can diosagree with someone's views on evolution without turning it into a fundamental attack oin their way of life which this topic has strayed into, and certainly without making such personal attacks as you did. In the Hebrew Genesis it DOES say In the beginning Elohim created Shemaim and Årætz.
Words ending on –im are plural. So in the beginning THE Gods created THE Heavens and Earth 😉

Anyways: There are two versions of Genesis. In one of them God creates Adam and Eve before any other living being. So which Genesis is the WRONG one?
I’m not going to burn in Hell as Hell does not exist. Even if there is a divine being, I’m sure it values knowledge and logic over personal attacks based on ignorance, so I’ll be the one going to Heaven – IF it existed (it doesn’t).
Most scientists up until the beginning of the 20th Century believed in a God of some sort. Most people did. Darwin is not an expert on theology – and his theories work far better WITHOUT the presence of a divine being.
Darwin the biologist was right. He was wrong saying God set op natural laws to govern the Earth. There is no evidence that that happened. A dialectic approach is needed here, as I’m sure you would agree.

But you do interfere with the childs free will to play with matches. Just as this God, who’s supposed to be omnipotent/present should take away guns/bombs and mines from us, so we do not get burned. NOT doing so is malicious.
