When I said the guy was weak for letting a movie change his mind, it's true. The movie shows only the last 12 hours of Jesus' life, not the "miracles" he performed, or the "forgiveness" he had towards all beings. Because it doesn't show any of these things, the guy could not have possibly been moved very much by that movie, unless he already knew anout the "miracles" of Jesus, and if so, this movie only gave him a reason to turn himself in. I think he was feeling guilty, and convicted, and by saying that a movie made him do it, it would get him fame that he otherwise wouldn't have had.
original posted by AbercrombieSora I know people all have different opinions....but finti, do you think saying "I wouldn't mind see Jesus dying" was really that appropriate??..I think that was pretty rude
Yes. He was crucified because the Jews believed he was a blasphemer.
Punker>While the movie may not have been made to only make money, that sure as hell was a big part of it. Mel Gibson did not just wake up one day and decide he needed to do this to proclaim his faith. I don't think he had selfish motives, but enlightening people as to what happened with Jesus of Nazareth was not his entire reason for making this film.
Sooner or later everybody has that thought in the back of there mind for doing something good Jeff.My bro is making a cd and just because he wants to touch people with his music doesnt mean he doesnt want the money.Kes he was accused of Blasphemy but he was wrongly accused.
