Anyway, it's not the word itself that caused that. Chances are, it was the fact that you said the word, and you are trying to cut down on cussing, that made you spill the caramel. It's a psychological thing...you had been trying so hard to quit cussing that when you did cuss it made you mad, which caused you to get burned. And don't actions speak louder than words, as Jesus clearly stated by his actions?

BTW...the reference you are looking for is somewhere in the book of James.

It's called temptation, and it's from satan, he gives you the temptation to cus and therefore you will or you won't... It's the temptation from him that caused eve to sin...

That said, it's still ignorant to say that the whole movie was about someone getting whipped. It was never meant to be an entertaining movie. It may be boring to some, and that's absolutely fine. Alot of people have some unfounded opinions and views, and that's what bothers me the most.

If the movie or it's subject matter doesn't appeal to you, why go see it, and why critique it?

Wow I just read the rest. Calm down, nobody is attaking Mel. We are reviewing a movie, Mel is the director (and writer right?) so he gets the blame. And judging BFs posts or opinion just because he is a horror fan is stupid. He can see just as well as anyone else and he is probably one of the best "critics" here!

Exactly, I DON'T care about the story. That is not a fault of mine, but the makers of the film. The movie should have mad me care about the story. It didn't so that's just another reason why it's a bad movie.

And you're point is laughably foolish. I like horror movies so that means I can't cricizie bad violent films because I like violent films? The difference between slasher films and this film (a snuff film) is basically this: Slasher films know what they are, they know that they are nothing but stupid, cheap entertainment. They don't bill themselves as some kind of god send to the film indunstry that's "educating" the audience about JC and trying to guilt you into caring about the bible by showing redundant and boring scenes of torture. Slasher films know what they are, and they don't try to lie about it too get people into the theaters.

Oh, and please feel free to come into the horror section and I will gladly give you redeeming values for the movies listed in my profile.

And for the record, I'm very close-minded. Why? Because my view is always right so there's no reason for me to listen to anyone elses view if it's therefor wrong.

Im not close minded I dont care if people like it its there choice,but when people like yersot say that "mel did it for money" and "God is a riduculous person and the bible is a ridiculous book" then I get a little ticked off.Because its going way beyond reviewing the movie and its not right to say those kind of things about God in a thread where people that relpylove God.
