I honor Rowlings...I mean we all knew there's someone really close to Harry who's going to die and we NEVER suspected Sirius out of all people - he always seemed like a survivor.

And Sirius dying was a huge impact to the readers.

But it's just that she could've used Sirius for something more important later on, it's not that he was close to Harry that made his death such an impact; it was more that he never really got a chance to prove himself useful, and also that he was innocent.

and that's why she chose him 2 die. again, it was the frustration of every1 that he didn't get 2 b free at all and that he was close to harry. plus he added to harry's character and showed his strength. mayb she could have used him later on but would he still be alive?

But even if he is dead, i'm sure he did something, maybe something we don't know about yet, that might come into play later on

Yah I think that it would be dumb if she brought Sirius back to life. I would be cool, but on the other hand it would be dumb. I mean he is dead. But then again he is not dead. JK Rowling will make something out of the insident and she will make it cool.

Maybe she will make it possible for Harry to talk to Sirius. Just somehow!

In the department of mysteries... , in the death chamber, harry could hear voices from the veil in the center of the room. anyone has any theories about it? Luna made a reference to it at the end of book 5...which might have hinted sirius could come back...but if he can come back from the dead, dont you think harry's parents could too? 😕 i mean, if they all go to the same place? well, sirius FELL through the causeway i guess...but whats the difference? ANY OPINIONS???? 😄

Well...when Sirius escapefrom Azkaban he was in his dog form and the Dementors can sense him clearly.

Well, the voices thing always intrigued me... it's like the people who went/fell in are still there in some form but no one as yet seems to know the back so I'm thinking this place is somthing like Limbo, you know when people die and they are stuck in limbo until the next step? Something like that would be a valid idea I think - or like another dimension/reality/plane for which the veil is a portal too and it's so close to our own dimension that we can hear them through the portal but can't get into contact with them. So maybe they can hear us too but can't actually talk to us?

Further into that - if it really is another type of plane then whoever goes there is bound to change form in some way because the energy frequencies would be on a different level but if they are somewhat similar then maybe that's why they can still be heard but not seen - kinda like how animals can hear frequencies we can't.

Also - the fact that no ones been in there and come back makes it a perfect opportunity for a trademark Sirius first of a kind escape don'tcha think? 😄 😉

Well, if the veil is like you said, another step, then what comes after? Is he trapped there? Or is the next step, as we're supposed to think, death?

I'm really not sure - I just think that it's either a state of existence before death, or just after death in limbo or another dimension rather then an empty vortex where people sink into and vanish.

Well, if there's such a simple way to transfer between dimensions, then there must be a way to get back out, and Sirius maybe the first to find that way.

i agree...i mean...well ....you remember how "you-know-who" hehe...sorry escaped death...but he wasnt ALIVE in a sense? mayb thats what sirius might be...a shadow of the living or something like that
