Let me pay some attention to you since you keep jumping up and down for it.

Fighting...2 beings using their vast array of powers on each other until one falls, dies, or gets knocked out.

SS isnt as physical as Supes. He has other ways around things. Supes is faster in a physical fight. Supes can knock him out before any of SS other tactics are effective. Cosmic blasts will be useless as supes can dodge or vibrate through them, draining IF even possible will take a while. Powering up to match Supes strenght takes time..something surfer will not have.

SS beat Doomsday? 😆 If the fight is in space DD can lose, However, Surfer does not pack the power to hurt DD on the ground where they will have to fight if it happens.
By the way DD and Supes have been upgraded a long time ago after that fight. Catch up with the times.

Superman is not faster than Surfer by any stretch of the imagination. Surfer could just phase through Superman's punches, if he wanted to, taking away any possibilities of victory. Who says being physical is a good thing?

Surfer would destroy Doomsday. Superman did it with punches alone. I've never seen Superman's punches destroy a planet. Doomsday doesn't stand a chance against the Silver Surfer.

Just a little aside; if Surfer can move his arms at greater than light speed, there is no reason why he couldn't punch at greater than light speed.

I wouldnt be so sure about that. DD fought the radiant who is pure psychic energy and originally lost to a near planet destroying blast. He came back immune to that (of course) so I dont see how SS would beat him that way. The whole league at his debut shot him with all their might including a GL (GG) and that did absolutely nothing. Do you believe SS cosmic blasts to be stronger in effect than the Omega beams he laughed at?

Where would he get one from?

He could shoot a power cosmic blast of Kryptonite radiation, if he wanted to. Or, he could synthesize Kryptonite.

Its probably for the same reasons Supes will take bullets yet dodge when they throw the gun at him.

Depends on what universe they are in. If the fight is in the DC universe he may be able to do it.

We don't know if the necessary frequencies exist in the Marvel universe, since there was no Krypton there.

That isn't really relavant. The Surfer can scan Superman and find his weakness. He might not know that the frequency is called "Kryptonite," but he would know that it has an adverse effect on Superman. Red sunlight would work as well.

He simply can't absorb red sunlight. It doesnt damage him.

Red kryptonite (when it existed) had random effects on kryptonians.

From what I've seen in Action Comics #826, it does. Eclipso is in a robotic suit that fires Red Solar Blasts. When she hits Superman with one blast from the suit, it puts Superman down for some time.

Surfer could probably use his cosmic awareness to transmute some other material into kryptonite. He's a matter manipulator, after all. A guy who can turn bullets to flowers.

or just blast kryptonite rays.
