i would say supes could win except for the fact that i don't see how he could prevent ss from ascertaining his weakness through cosmic scanning. ss could 'cosmically read' him and know k-nite radiation could kill him - a la glads. i could see ss and supes going at it HARD, then ss realizing it's too close, or that he can't win (again, same as when he fought glads - and he didn't change glads to glass, so i'll assume he doesn't change supes either!) backs off, concentrates, reads supes with his cosmic senses and learns the secret of the k-nite. then supes is screwed.

if someone could logically explain why ss COULD NOT do this everytime, i'll hop on the superbandwagon. it's debateable if ss could pull the solar energy from him, it's debateable if ss could ko him with blasts, it's debateable if ss could transmute him - i don't see it as debateable that he could glean supes's weakness, or generate enough k-rad to kill him.

refute this single point gents, then make way for leo to hop aboard the supertrain!!

I dont know if Norrin can make krytonite cause they dont have it in his universe His power cosmic makes him able to transmute elements within his own universe.

Kinda like Wally not having the speedforce in the JLA/Avengers crossover.

Well Leo, I wont say Supes is immune to kryptonite.. but it wouldnt be as easy as surfer just making some to win. Here is supes standing next to a giant boulder of the stuff and not having any ill effects. He even locks himself in the room with it.

Wonder Woman tried to attack him with Krptonite and Superman punched her from deep space back to earth.

And I am not saying he is immune to Kryptonite either.

Surfer has quite a few ways to win this fight. Supes has just one road to take, and it would be hard for him to do so.

Why would it be impossible for Surfer to transmute Supes into another form of matter?

Pulling the solar energy from Superman is entirely possible. I've seen it happen twice.

An average blast of the power cosmic is enough to level a city. More is enough to destroy an entire world. Even more can tear apart a star. Why would Surfer's main offense be ineffective against Superman?

It's possible to synthesize Kryptonite radiation. It's electromagnetic radiation. Surfer is all about radiation, and he can generate any frequency. I don't see why not.
