silver surfer vs superman

The suit wasn't hurting Superman. Eclipso said the suit's Kryptonite alloy wasn't meant to hurt Superma. And it didn't. However, he underestimated Superman's strength. Superman managed to destroy the robo-suit. You act like he was laughing off the red sunlight blasts.

even though ss can absorb the energy from a person, in the case for supes solar energy, is it possible that he might not be able to do so because of his force field that surrounds his body. We don't know how the power cosmic will do against the skin tight force field that supes have. what if ss has to physically touch supes to take away his energy like the parasite does then supes can knock the hell out of silver surfer because Thor has many times and no one can dispute that Thor and supes are at least equal in strength

Can someone please explain what the power cosmic is actually, it has been a while since i read a surfer comic(go figure he is my favorite) it is not magic so we know that. so what is it. I just trying to figure out if surfer power cosmic is equal to darksides omega beams which erases beings from existence and supes handle those.

Surfer would have to touch Superman to drain his power much like when triumph tried it in JLA #31.

Superman wasnt fighting him either and I think he even punched him in the jaw.

let me preface this message by saying that silver surfer is my favorite character and i believe he should beat the man of steel, but i don't think ss will crush supes as easy as some will think. But it is interesting that all the major characters in marvel have energy absorption abilities!!, and they say dc is overpowering

But there is some ignorant fans here.

Silver Surfer doesn't need to touch a person to leech a power, but it is always questionable if Silver Surfer can leach from Superman. The power cosmic defy logic and follows as an opposing concept than that of magic. It allows for offensive attacks, matter creation/manipulation, etc. With how it's been illustrated bt Surfer, it varies based on the user's creativity.

Thanks a lot that is probably the most informed response i had ever read in my life, LOL, but in all seriousness the power cosmic is the left over energy that help start the marvel universe-not magical in nature- so why would that hurt supes, but again if he reads supes energy signature and finds out red-sun radiation strips him of his powers then it is all over for big blue. Again i know ss will win this but please let us not think it will be a walk in the park

so basically a character who's powers are based on the comic powers are able to do anything they want if "written correctly" as people are porne to say, but then complain when supes does something incredible. like i have said before this is why i stopped reading marvel-and they said dc is overpowering
