Where did this graviton thing come anyway? I've never even heard that Cyclops blasts are gravitons...

Cyclops' blasts aren't powered by the sun anymore.

Now, his eyes are a gateway to a dimension filled with limitless energy.... which gets shot out of his eyes.

Yep,

"Cyclops's eyes are no longer the complex organic jelly that utilizes the visible spectrum of light to see the world around it. Instead, they are inter-dimensional apertures between this universe and another, non-Einsteinium universe, where physical laws as we know them do not pertain. This non-Einsteinium universe is filled with particles that resemble photons, yet they interact with this universe's particles by transferring kinetic energy in the form of gravitons (the particle of gravitation). These particles generate great, directional concussive force when they interact with the objects of this universe."

Amazing.

Hmm, what about that part about those particles resembling photons?

Their not photons, just resembled and then later is states they transfer transferring kinetic energy in the form of gravitons. That's not something photons can do.

Exactly. They resemble photons but they direct kinetic energy.

Using a little bit of logic, extrapolation, and that 'bio' you posted, it would seem that Cyke's eye beams SHOULD act exactly as photons do, but ALSO direct kinetic energy.

No they shouldn't as they arn't photons to begin with, resemeble....not exact

Why exactly should that be out of the question?

The dimension in which his energy comes from doesn't follow by our world's physics.

Just because they are not photons doesn't mean that they can't move with the speed of light. We are talking about comics here, where things WITH mass move with hundreds of thousands of times of speed of light. And scientists speculate that gravitons, if they exist, move with speed of light.

but what he realesed is not photon energy it's gravitons. LARGE difference

But they arn't photons as stated. Proof that gravitons can move at the speed of light?

but going lightspeed on earth is not allowed on DC or Earth as sated would destroy the Earth. Most of these feats are in space or have a speed force

Yes, but.... the actual particles themselves are similar to photons, but they transfer kinetic energy in the forms of gravitons.

His blasts has properties of both gravitons AND photons. I wouldn't nix the idea of them being light speed just yet. 😬

and the output is gravitons, which have mass as their concussive blasts. So an object having mass going lightspeed equals major distruction.

Once again I ASKED for proof of them going lightspeed, I never discounted it before but now I am since nothing has been provided.

So dumb.
Just like a gamma bomb giving someone access to a universe full of strength...

Right, but you have to understand that the particles of that universe don't abide by our scientific laws. So at best you're arguing an illogical point.

No they said the particles resembled photon so that doesn't apply to us, but what is created is gravitons which can be applied if proven exists on our world of course. The outcome of the reaction is what matters not the creation as it's graivtons being released.

Alright, I'm just gonna put this issue to rest:

"In physics, the graviton is a hypothetical elementary particle that mediates the force of gravity in the framework of quantum field theory. If it exists, the graviton must be massless (because the gravitational force has unlimited range) and must have a spin of 2 (because gravity is a second-rank tensor field)."

I hope that answers your question.

Uh... scientists believe gravitons move at c... you're asking us to prove the speed of a theoretical particle, that's used in a comic - i.e. in a static image?

not really as where is the mention of lightspeed, and we know these gravitons have mass.

Proof? and no you can still prove that by comments or examples of it's speed. A face to face QS dodged a wide spread blast. That doesn't scream to me lightspeed.

1. You're reaching BIG TIME.

2. There are no "different types" of gravitons. They are what they are.

3. Since they are massless, when they move the travel at "c"
