let me quote you silver surfer from the pages of his own comic (yes thats right, he was knocked out in his own comic)

that is a direct quote from the issue. then let me tell you what happens surfer blasts at thor and misses, thor throws his hammer but misses also *flips page* thor takes a mighty swing (this is all happening in space/above a planet) and sends surfer carreening onto the planets surface. POW knocked his ass out cold.

might i also add that this happened after thor had knocked out somebody with powers identical to his own. Beta Ray Bill.

i would like to see thor flying in space at surfer speed, no ****ing way, surfer is way faster.

not sure if he has or not, but i know surfer was beaten. surfer and brb were knocked out by thor in the span of a few pages. what does that tell you?

i'm far from a thor fanboy. but you cant deny facts of what has happened. silver surfer, has admitted, on his own accord, that thor is more powerful. we all know thor is also the better fighter. so who is going to win the fight honestly???

who do i like better out of these 2?? probably a tie, split right down the middle. if surfer had that killer mentallity, i'd probably like him better. but a fanboy?? no i'm not one.

that is the heirarchy made on this forum and it holds no water. look, hulk and juggernaut are both below abomination??? but why?? hulk has whipped abom quite often, and juggernaut would do the same. just becuase you post that doesnt change the - FACT - that thor has beaten surfer multiple times, and surfer has admitted that without outside influence thor is more powerful.

i don´t belive he simply lost to thor it got to exist something else, they always do that, or surfer was sick or he didn´t really wanted to fight thor, or it was simply bad writing. thor with odin power is another conversation, this one could take surfer down, but the normal thor i just don´t belive it.

well then you are disagreeing with the very writers at marvel. chalk up a loss to surfer against classic thor weather you want to believe/accept it or not. i have to chalk up a loss for juggernaut to onslaught, and there aint a damn thing i can do about it. this is the exact kind of post that should be deleted because they present no valid information and it is pure fanboyism talking. now did i call you a fanboy?? no, but i did say you are acting like one. get some facts.

it happened in continuity, and thor did knock surfer out. was there circumstances???? yes, thor was in warrior madness state. what is warrior madness state. its basically thor going awry with no care to the well being of his opponents. it doesnt actually increase his physical attributes, it just alters his mentallity.

but i also think you need to alter your mentality. surfer -admitted- thor to be more powerful (yes he was talking about classic thor) and 2, in the pages of S.S.'s own comic, he was knocked unconscious just before giving a speach of how a mad god cannot withstand his wrath. which proved to be utterly FALSE.

so in conclusions surfer CAN lose to thor, and HAS lost to thor. just because you havnt read it doesnt mean it didnt happen.
