you're full of bs, Cable cannot beat surfer, nor can thor...Surger destroyed Green Lantern with ease.......eeeaaaasssseee. Surfer is the First and formost herald of Galactus. He has too much power. Thor is at a loss mentallyas well. Didn't they already fight? They did, but I didn't get to see who won. Silver Surfer has always been the pretty much top Marvel Hero.
Thor isn't unstoppable. Norrin was just mad while Thor was plain CRAZY - thus WARRIORS MADDNESS. Being mad still meant he could logically reason and feel empathy towards his friend, while Thor was just a psycho talking and taking advice from his mystery women Valkerie. Thor didn't care about his friends, thus he attacked Beta Ray Bill (a brother figure to him) with such relentlessness. The bum was powered by anger, adrenaline, & maddness, attacking even Sif.
Surfer > Thor - FACTS ARE FACTS.
Thor with the Odin-Force is not "nigh unstoppable," "nigh omnipotent," "nigh" anything. He is a force to be reckoned with, but he is not even remotely close to being "nigh unstoppable."
Skyfathers are not much more powerful than The Silver Surfer, and that is fact. Thor at "regular" strength/power levels is NOT more powerful than Silver Surfer. Jesus Christ. Thor at his regular power levels got slammed by Superman (admittedly a very, VERY suspect account of his abilities), who is inferior to Martian Manhunter (this is canon, not opinion). Silver Surfer and Martian Manhunter are very, very close in terms of overall power.
Skyfathers are about equal to The Watchers in power, and thus safely BELOW Galactus, the Phoenix Force, The Stranger, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Oblivion, Death, Eternity, Celestials, the Beyonder, the Shaper of Worlds, Epoch, Chton, LT, Thanos with the IG, anyone with THOTU, the Eternals, Korvac, probably Hyperstorm, probably Molecule Man, probably full-potential Franklin Richards.
That's off of the top sans much research, and that IS fact pursuant to several comic book writers/editors, and that is only the Marvel Universe.

I'm not comparing Thor to DC because I know very little about DC outside Superman. In fact, I haven't heard of more than half of the list you included, so obviously I can't compare Thor to any of it. I'm comparing Thor to Surfer. Of course Thor is well below Galactus, but he is not well below Surfer. He is comparable to Surfer in power but when he has OdinForce he is superior. That's what I was stating, not whether he was the most powerful force in the multiverse. He's 'nigh unstoppable,' not unstoppable, meaning it would take a cosmic being of Galactus/Eternity proportions to take him down. Surfer isn't capable of it.

ok.......... your point being??

ummmm ok........ odin could run circles around surfer, and finish him off before breakfast....... that is NOT a fact. you are simply blowing smoke.

if i'm not mistaken superman has taken MM??? please correct me if i'm wrong. also i see the problem, you are comparing dc to marvel, when this is clearly a marvel/marvel battle. the crossovers hold very little water, if any at all......

actually the collective might of the watchers is = to the celestials. and the watchers are roughly as powerful as galactus. also i think it should be mentioned that odin has said that he has repelled galactus himself (not to mention, that it has been said more than once by various characters) so i'm not sure where you are drawing your conclusions from. also, galactus is said to be a very powerful psion, yet a watcher shielded reed richards mind from galactus reading it. odd dont you think?? i think you have your heirarchy all screwed up.

i dont think i have to comment on the rest of the list.......

and it should stay as the marvel universe, and i think i've provided enough information that sky fathers are indeed more powerful than silver surfer, thor is roughly equal to, but slightly more so considering surfer has admitted it.

this is irrelavant.......
i think u guys both have good points. It is hard to use DC characters as evidence in this fight, it is not a crossover, and the Majority of Marvel Dc fights dont really serve any purpose outside of their repective issues. Additionally, i think trying to suggest the Surfer or Galactus' would win or lose to anyone cannot be based on sheer power alone...Galactus and the surfer have less power on paper than other cosmic beings. The surfer still manages to engage Thanos and Galactus still eventually consumes the celestials. Surfer and Galactus in particular, disproportionately represent the power cosmic. More than being cosmic capacitators like Thanos or the Celestials, it seems that Galactus and Surfer are cosmic vessels which the power cosmic flows through in whatever quantities are necessary. Galactus is a force of Nature...where characters like the stranger or Ego are just cosmic charged rocks floatin in space. Although Surfer shouldnt be able to beat characters that out match him in pure power, he is more attuned and diverse in using the power cosmic...this is why i think the Surfer wins it in this one

i agree with you on this part because i'm not gauging it purely on power. surfer has admitted thor to be more powerful. ok thats been established. but thor also has a warrior mentality, born and raised. he is also just plain out a better fighter. all around favor is stacked heavily towards thor 🙂

the only thing that i think needs addressing in this is the part about surfer being more diverse, but i dont see it that way. thor has many talents and he has proven diverse himself over the years. surfer seems to blast..... but thor has those too on multiple levels. he can also deflect them, and is a much better combatant all around. i see thor winning atleast 6/10. again agree to disagree we all have our "facts" and "opinions" on this and nobody is going to give way.
