Naah, he had problems with classic thor and both are just as versatile as the other. I always gave thor the edge because he IS basically the surfer just a better fighter and thats what its going to come down to since thor has a weapon that can absorb almost anything the surfer can throw at him.
thor should be able to take surfer at least 7/10. Thor has a weapon that can destroy planets and surfer was tore up from a moon busting punch from tenebrous, do the math.

It was a LOT LESS than a MOON BUSTING PUNCH. The "Moon" that SS fans refer to were simply large prison pods about the size of a large building.
At best it was a small prison pod denting punch since nothing was destroyed.

Energy and Punches don't have to necessarily destroy planets and solar systems to show how powerful the attacks are.
Heck if you want to look at environmental damage to test how powerful an attacks is :/ Thor has been K.O to no environmental or Minial crack on the ground attacks 🙂
And Silver Surfer has taken Planet destroying shots with no affect whatsoever.
The main point you should consider is who is doing the attack
and i hope you know T and A are near Galactus level.
Those scans should be a Good feat not a bad one

When was the last time anybody ever saw saw Silver Surfer's silver coating be cracked and chipping after a few energy blasts? Not to mention, Surfer's board?
Andy Schmidt (editor of Annihilation) stated that the artists really wanted to convey several messages about the scope of power being used against SS here. Those cracks are not for nothing.
