Takuan, you sense you are being watched again...

"that damn osokan.." says Takuan looking around.
"he must be close"

Your Sense rolls a 16, Takuan.

Wait... it's not the Osokan!

Ypu spin around., About five silos towards the city centre, a figure is watching you with electrobinoculars, on the silo top.

It's Helkin.

"awh..our friend helkin. rather a pest, that one" says Takuan
"he'll have recognised us from the station by now, and link we're up to no good. Do we go for him?"

There is a quick shriek of white noise as Helkin produces a small communicator, and sets it to ampligy his voice.

"Well well," he calls over. "Looks like I found my man."

"A set up!" Rah curses "Well bring it on!" He says as he swipes the nearest silo sending out a shower of sparks.

(I'm away til next week so dont expect any of my super dazzling role play for the next few days... 😛 )

"But we seem to be one man short," says Helkin. "Where is your leader?"

"That would be me," Nume says, lightsaber still activated. He steps to the front of the group. "If you are looking for Kuylen, I've never met him, let alone seen him."

"Can I help you with something? I'm sure you aren't here to take us in. That would be just plain stupid."

Galder laughs. "Thirty hicks with blasters couldn't stand against us, and I killed eight myself, all inside of thirty seconds."

"We'd just toy with you..."

I hope you guys are shouting...

Helkin snorts.

"You're no leader," he says. "But don't worry. I am not here to bring you in.

Kill them," he says, out loud. "You can keep the sabres as trophies." He turns off the communicator and turns around.

You have a bad feeling about this, Rand.

Galder raises an eyebrow, then snarls. He extends his robotic arm and activates his blaster, the barrel sliding out, and opens fire at Helkin.

Nume has a feeling that he knows who Helkin is talking to, but uses Sense to locate him.

"The Osokan! I should have known," Nume shouts. "Helkin is just another corrupt Republican bastard."

That's a long shot, Galder. Still, you roll -7 anyway- rather a miss! Your shot hits the silo, sending grain spilling out.

Rand- it's a mite more alarming than that.

I want you guys to be able to roughly imagine your scenario. The silos are arranged in neat rows, with roadways between them in a grid pattern. You are currently standing at a crossroads, in-between four silos.

From the east side, which leads back to the city, towards Helkin, the Osokan steps out, 3 frames distant. He is making pig-like grunting and snorting noises.

But then also, another one steps out from the west side, with a wide, horribly spiky grin. They look pretty similar. In fact, you may well have been seeing either of them at any point.

And then another walks out from behind a silo on the north road- and aother to the south.

(Fight hasn't started yet so don't jump the gun).

(maybe you shouldn't have mentioned kuylen, zink...no need to give him unnecessary info.)

Takuan holds his lightsaber in front.
grip on the osokan in the north
(if the fight has started, that is. also...i'm probably gonna need cover keep that going. also....see if you guyz can pull them whips from them. i'll try if this doesn't work)

You brandish your sabre at the northern Osokan, Takuan.

He removes his whip from his belt, and turns it on. A brilliant cascase of blue crackling energy spouts forth froim the hilt, hanging limply to one side as he holds the Neurowhip at a slight angle.

welll..i doubt i want to take him on by myself.
but..what the heck..forget the grip. cobat push, to pull the whip from him.

Like I say, we'll hold off from the fighting just yet.

ok...
we outnumber them rather clearly, guyz. i suggest one attacks them, and others go behind and around the silos, to get them from behind...this way we attack them from multiple directions. WE should stalk them, instead of the other way around.

Well now there may be a problem there, Takuan.

There is aussdenly a cacophony of igniting energy weapons, and now the background is filled with a mix of lightsabre him and neurowhip crackle.

From each side, joining their captains, another seven Osokans step out, blocking each route, grunting and snorting.

That is four teams of eight.

sh!t..well....scrap that theory then.
but we can still use the space between the silos, to hold them off easier.
i have no idea how that whip works...so i can think of how to fight it.
does my saber protect me?..as in..can i cast aside/defend a strike from one?
