Overrated anime

It dosen't have to suck..or maybe it really sucks,but either way,you think it isn't the best.What anime do you think is sevearly overrated?

for me i think its these

1)Inuyasha-
In my opinion,although i BELIEVE it came first,Inuyasha is just a crappy version of Fushigi Yuugi.The story is WAY to drawn out,and the romance is annoying?(see the cultured anime thread for details)THe only reason it got so popular is because it want onto Cartoon Network.It was pretty big in Japan but its just gross in the USA

2)Rarunai Kenshin-don't get me wrong,i love Kenshin,its great,but overrated as hell.Its a great samurai anime/manga but there are better.Hell,most ppl who are obsessed with Rarunai don't even TRY other samurai anime or manga..just sad.

3)Chobits
i love the art,its very cute,but the anime/manga itself gets really BLARG after awiole.It is literally the same cycle over/over again.Chi: im a robot and i don't know stuff so im going to do somthing stupid,Hikdiki:Chi,now thats not nice.Chi:whos a person just for me?Hidiki:I have no clue but even though that robot in that picture looks just like you/stuff,i don't think it is.
i donno,i just don't like it.

to each there own i have always thought eva was over rated as hell shrug

yes, EVA and DB are overrated. I never knew what everyaone was so obsessed about. Oh yes, and Zoids, NEVER understood why it was so popupar

Well... i have to disagree with Inuyasha, as it it my favorite.

I must agree with DBZ, etc as they really are overrated. One season is good. Save the world once. But, after saving the world from like a billion invaders and villains, it gets annoying, and repetitive.

Fushigi Yuugi- definitely overrated. i like it, but it'as too overrated.

Kenshin is great, but only a little overrated, but that doesn't stop me from loving Aoshi-sama. And, a lot of other people like other samurai anime or manga. so, it's not polite to be judgemental.

another one- all robot shows. i'm sorry, but Gundam is way overrated. i love it, but it is.

Akira and Ghost in the Shell are both supposed to be classics. I've watched them both, and have never felt even remotely inclined to rewatch them. They're really not verry interesting.

Well, since you put it like that ... Akira is the worst anime ever, and I hope every one involved in making it comes to a bad end (and to think, the worst I said before you talked was that it wasn't very interesting; over-reacting much?)

lol. the first time i saw Akira i thought it was friggin retarded, but then i got older...and finally understood what the hell was going on, and it isnt that bad. i thought Ghost in the Shell was good, but to each his own i guess. i still dont understand FLCL...i mean the art is great and all, but...what the F*CK?! kinda overrated there. Big O is WAAAY overrated. and i thought Pilot Candidate was UNDERrated. Adult Swim didnt give it nearly as much airtime as it deserved. same with Outlaw Star.

fluffy,just cause you like Inuyasha dosent mean it isn't overrated(as i sufggested putting Kenshin on even though im a Kenshin feak)...admit it,its very very overrated

I like yu-gi-oh cept not the dub cos they cut all the mad stuff yami bakura does out of it.

Golgo 13.... not a big fan, I'm afraid... although I think BlackJack is very underrated...

DB/DBZ and DBGT was all the best, all the others are pure bollucks, 1stly they look abnormal, they story lines are crap and its too japanese.

Half of the ppl are jelous of the DB series because of how well they sold.
