Arach: no Lee could not take a lion. He would never bother trying to because he'd know better. Lee's brilliance in fighting was his quickness and his ability to manipulate a person's own stupidity in a fight against him. Speed doesn't work against a lion, and you can't use a lion's stupidity because they're not stupid.
Wynndar: I'll wait.....you back? Good. Yes Vader is more powerful, in terms of innate power. I'm not talking about intelligence or about weaponry. I mean sheer internal power.
sheer internal power of Jedi versus a regular human in MU? of course, but with his armor Doom is vastly more powerful...I think u def underestimate his power....remember when Joseph and Rogue were getting killed by a huge sentinel? They couldnt beat the sentinel, both were about out of gas i guess, but then Doom showed up and blew away half the sentinel with one blast? that is his base armor. That same base armor allowed him to take on Terrax endowed with the Silver Surfer's power cosmic and Hyperstorms monster, two people more powerful than anyone in the SWU
^ Lol.
I haven't bothered to read all the pages, but I'm going to say Doom. He's got too many toys NOT to win. Vader may be faster than Doom, but he doesn't have superspeed. The only way I could see Vader winning would be if he was on Doom right away and he absorbed any blasts that Doom shot at him...but Vader only absorbed one blaster shot. We don't know the extent of his power, but I am assuming that it is considerably less than Emperor Palpatine's. Doom is a genius. Vader may be intelligent, but he can't outwit Doom. Also, who says that Vader can use lightning? He is only shown using "force choke" (although that may change in the third movie).

Bruce didn't just rely on speed. He knew where to hit and how hard. And how to hit. You can't knock a person back 6 feet when your punch starts one inch away, without knowing a little something about technique and the human anatomy. That's why I said "with a little study". Sure, Bruce Lee going in there thinking that he will use his speed is a dead man, but Bruce Lee going in there knowing how the lion attacks(they go for the neck, always), and where to strike(the windpipe, or any one of various pressure points), has a fair chance.
But again, I digress.
Star22, you didn't read the rest of the thread. the ONLY thing Vader can do is choke him, MAYBE. Stabbing him with that stupid lightsaber won't work(energy absorption feild) and using stupid mind tricks won't work. Doom isn't weak minded. He is probably the most determined man in all of comics.

No, it's been scientifically discussed. Everything has been touched by science, even the paranormal. My definition is based on the Greek 'tele' and 'kinein' though, not just the actual practice of telekinesis.
Okay, so I guess since it's been scientifically discussed, whatever they say about it is true then right? Like I said, mostly theories, not fact. Think outside of the box.😉
(Sorry, the last comment just seemed to make sense at the moment, lol)
Fece, they're referring to Vader's powers in all the comics and novels and whatever else.
And star22, look back a few pages. There's plenty that Doom can do to Vader. If you think it would be that easy then you underestimate Doom greatly.
And this just reminds me, who knows exactly how that fight went with Vader and Boba Fett? (And for those that are gonna ask, I mean in the comics not movies, to save y'all the trouble)

a little more impressive than Skywalker lifting an x-wing...i know skywalker is not Vader but he is strong enough to challenge vader.
From my understanding the mass or size(or something like that) of the object is meaningless to the use of the force. Lifting a rock is the same as an x-wing, or any other object of any size/mass... I think Yoda said that, while training luke, which would in a sense be ridiculous, no? (I mean, if that's true then a planet, star, or galaxy could be moved with ease too...)
In any case, as for the Vader vs Doom fight, I'd say it probably goes to Doom, he comes from the FF side of marvel, aka the side that's broken beyond repair. Those char.s are in the not-believable anymore department, I mean what they call genius overthere Doom/Reed is akin to virtually-all-knowing super-human-intellect techno-magicians, they also have the pocket-universe creating baby 😆 , and other uber-broken masterpieces such as galactus and the silver surfer.
Though when I read things like this....
He has also been physically humiliated by the Thing and Doom has vowed to take revenge....
it makes me wonder if doom is all he's cracked up to be....(is that for real? 😕 )
Also did Vader really absorb a laser blast that could've destroyed a city? Can doom's personal armor weaponry really blow up a moon? What's the nature of the force is it like fate/destiny or does it just seem like it(if it's fate those favored by it, will always get a lucky shot, if not they can indeed be fuxxored)?

I didn't say it was true, just that it was discussed by science. There are many theories that are discussed by science and dismissed. Actually telekinesis hasn't been dismissed or accepted. It's still open, I was just pointing out that it has touched on the subject.

The Force chooses particular beings like Fates does--through the midichlorian count in their bloodcells, but how that person utlilizes the force is through training. Anakin was the Chosen One because the Force chose him, not because he received the best training. In fact he received horrible training by Obi-Wan, that's partly the reason he fell to the dark side. As for Vader absorbing a laser blast that can destroy a city, probably not, but theoretically it is possible. And there is no way Doom's personal armor weaponry is capable of that kind of damage. Doom has the capability of building that kind of weaponry, but as I've said from the beginning, Doom isn't going to bring this kind of weaponry with him. It's a hand-to-hand fight, and in that, Vader has an advantage. Doesn't make him a winner hands-down, just means he's the more powerful in terms of innate power.
