Well i hope the film comes out and is made, but well with the rumours of no Arnie, or the guy who played the guy whowould lead them not looking too good.
Those are the questions we have all been asking...the answer will lie with the results of Arnie's next election.

Ideally there shouldn't be any need to go all out on the CGI, I would like a lot of focus on storylines and character development. The post-war situation can be a pretty intense theme and has a lot of potential.
I agree, if anything I would love for a significant portion of the effects to be done on set rather than in a lab.

Yeah I would love that to. CGI is overly used and just for the sake of it these days. I was happy with the CGI in T3. Some of the most realistic stuff I've seen on screen. BUT... some things didn't have to be CG. They could of used more models like they did in T1 and T2, which worked really well.
I just want T4 made as soon as possible. With a good script of course.
Just a tiny bit of news on the film will make me happy!

I agree, typical decision process:
Producer: "We have a seen where a car crashes into a pole."
Director: "The hell with it, just CGI the damn thing."
I say everything that takes place on the ground should and needs to be on-set effects and some of the HK's can be done with models combined with animatronics.
Unfortunately I doubt a genuinely good writer will come aboard. 😉
The best screenplay would be a Cameron screenplay.
Hopefully we'll have news by December. *crosses fingers*
Yeah I hope we do hear something soon.
Anything!
I would like to see what is happening. If a script has been written, cast and crew news. Anthing! I would like to know what the producers have in mind for the story. What direction they are going to go with the whole thing.
Didn't the producers say that T4 was on the top of their agenda?

Speaking of Schwarzenegger, I hear they’re in talks with him to film a cameo at the start of “Terminator 4” sometime next Fall. Producers are apparently chasing a new male lead to headline the film though – an older John Connor, I believe – which will tie directly into a new TV series called “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. Believe John Mostow is returning to direct.

Okay... so not any major gossip on T4 but reading this, it does sound promising... kinda. A major T4 announcement revealed soon ay!? Ooh.

Thanks to TheArnoldFans!
Here's the article for those who wish to read it here:
"Stan told me that his friendship with Arnold remains as strong as ever and they were just hanging out last weekend. These two men love a good stogie together, bike rides and even pump iron together. After I asked Stan how T4 is coming he was cautious to chose the right words. While smiling and gesturing that he wished he could reveal more...he admitted that he's not quite ready to give any official comments on this. However, by his reaction it looks positive that Stan WILL be back."
"Stan remembered me from the few times I met him before from the red carpet interviews and on-set T3 visits. All I can say is that a major T4 announcement will be revealed "VERY SOON." I wish my T4 news could have been more exciting but, for me, it's always a thrill to be in the presence of Stan! Looking forward to seeing his "SkinWalker" werewolves and also his new creations in T4!"
Right, it's come that time again where I get in one of my Terminator moods. As I'm typing this I have the T3 soundtrack playing. Anyway, I came across a picture of T3, which I had never seen before (view here: http://www.terminatorfiles.com/news/2003/2003-09-17-d.htm ) and I was wondering does anyone know what was cut from T3? It would be interesting to find out and I hope that a T3.5 is released, which, lets face it, is what we want. T3 does feel as though it had loads of scenes taken out of it. It needs to be puffed out! Anyway... so if anyone knows what was left out, please let me know. Thanks.
[Still awaits for T4 news!]
Latest update on T4...sort of.
August 24th, 2006.
Q.Is TERMINATOR 4 stuck in developmental hell because it does not have the full support of Arnie yet? Stan Winston might not be involved and who the hell is rumored to be directing...Mostow? - AB King
A. Yeah. It’s a trade-off apparently. The Support of California, to Support Terminator 4. Might never happen. That first part. I believe it’s still in development – oh, this is the serious part of the response – which could mean that, a) yes, they’re waiting for Schwarzenegger to become available b) they’re waiting on a good script c) they’re waiting on James Cameron’s next film to fizzle d) they’re waiting until Edward Furlong leaves the country before greenlighting it.

Although as previously posted, Stan Winston will indeed likely be involved with T4. Besides any possible doubt, who else would they trust but Stan who's done all the films to date regardless of who else is involved.
