My reasoning Captain America spends most of his time leading super hero's or some group into battle, with him in front line. And not the other way round. While batman is the opposite in this matter.
cap has lead teams thousands of times, against things that would make batman guano on himself, and he does have a solo comic, where he does fight as a loner time and time again
batman is the greatest detective in the DCU, in marvel he'd be worthless because they have daredevil (theres more but thats the first character that comes to mind)
Please even thought dare devil is good when it comes to his own detective work (he is a lawyer, is he not? he seems to be more like Tyler from Matlock any how) he pales in comparison to the batman's . And by the way dare devil to me is more like The Question when it comes to detective work.
I see his detective work standing at the top in marvel as well. Because he has worked with the greatest detective of them all sherlock Holmes. And might I add sherlock Holmes was impress.
People sometimes say that batman is a detective first, they are right (he did what he did to get revenge) but they seem to forget that he is so much more than just a brilliant detective.
In Marvel-DC and Avengers-JLA.... Caps vs Bats was the most exciting match up. A very very close one indeed and it will be.
Captain America is a much more experience fighter than Batman
Caps took out Nazi units, platoon on his own. Bats took out bugalars
Bats is more discipline than Caps.
Caps is more resourceful than Bats.
Both are stratagist but Bats slightly edge Caps in this
simply to put, its a tie. But Batman's utility belt will make the diff

I don't see how you can say Bat Man is more disciplined than Cap. Cap takes his dedication and devotion to his ideals of freedom and what he and his uniform stand for almost to an obsessive level. All he does is fight and train. How do you figure Bats is more disciplined?
As far as resourcefulness, I like that you gave an edge to Cap, but I would probably call this one a draw. I think both Cap and Bats are probably THE two most resourceful fighters in their respective universes.
NO WAY Bat Man beats Captain America in the strategy department. Every time a group of heroes gather together to fight a common good, everyone unanimously chooses Cap to lead. In Avengers vs JLA, both sides chose Cap to lead the final assault, including Bat Man: "I concur," were his exact words. Even to Cap's initial objections. There is nothing you can say to explain to me how his abilities to analyze a fight and figure out 10 different scenarios ahead of time to combat the situation would suddenly DROP if he is by himself. If he can direct and participate in a fight that encompasses hundreds of friends and foes and lead them to victory, why do you think he couldn't figure out how to successfully beat one man? You can't!
And Bat Man's gadgets are no match for that shield.

Batman will find away, he always does! Martial Arts are like fingerprints, you can tell who they are even if they are wearing a mask! Batman couldnt beat that guy called Cain I belive and then he found somehow the courage and skills to surpass him. Captain America is no different!

Umm... Cap is a master martial artist as well. Marvel.com puts him at MAXIMUM level in fighting ability, as I'm sure DC does the same for Bats. So, as that kind of cancels itself out, then we have to look at Cap's superior physique due to the Super Soldier Serum and his unparalleled ability to analyze a fight WHILE fighting, and to exploit EVERY weakness in his opponent's defense. Cap is a MASTER tactician and combat strategist. Bat Man is a great detective, but Cap is NOT going to give him the time to stop and think about what's happening to him and to plan his "prep-time" for their next meeting.
This would probably be the fight of Captain America's career, but in the end, the Red, White and Blue would be standing over-top of the Black and Blue (which describes not only Bat Man's costume, but his face as well, after this match-up).

Dude everything that you describe for Captain America can be said for Batman! with cancelling each other out as you said, it is Batmans brain vs Cap's brain mostly, That Serium just gave him the Body that he has now. It doesnt stay forever in his body! If it did then I would of consider that a special power!

What you just said is what DC says batman is word for word and then some. Well not all is word for word but They also go ahead as to say that batman possesses the most analytical mine in all of DC. Allowing him to come up plans right on the spot.
Ask for the discipline department, Batman is more discipline. Batman traveled the world and learned a bag full of stuff from the both sides of the law, mastering all martial arts in the process. Compared to Captain America's mastering American boxing, and all martial arts.
Cap. and the Bats are pretty much even, a draw if you will but if the fights continue I can see batman winning. Due to his paranoia of wanting to know everything.
