Posting an email for such a thing can be considered spam as well.
There's no need for such a forum because there's never been any such interest in something like that here. There are other forums on the internet better suited for such a thing.
However, the debate as to whether or not it was spam is to be dropped and not brought back up again.
Peach, that is why there is no such forum here, if there was I am sure the picture would have been different. People that came here and looked for a suitable forum to post their thoughts or whatever might have started to look elsewhere because no such forum existed. If a subject such as art and written fiction is given a forum I don't see why movies should not.
Alot of people have cameras and I am sure many of them have tried to make their own short movies or documentaries or interviews or whatever the subject may be.

I don't see what KMC has to loose in this matter, a forum like this would be a very healthy addition to the boards. I mean we got roleplaying forums, "versus" forums, movie making forum seems more appropriate and almost a given to be perfectly honest.
My last thoughts on the original voice actor thread; I did also mention that I could be reached via personal messages here on KMC. Therefore I see no reason for closing the entire thread down, a removal of the email could have been sufficient. Sufficient for those that deem regular, legit emails as means of communicating as spam. I think it was pretty clear that it meant a lot to me, classifying a way to reach me as spam is in my opinion nitpicking.
Again this would not even be a problem had such an appropriate forum existed. It could even be a multi function forum, where music that was made by members here on KMC would also share their works, as well as graphical work. But that might be too broad, but you get the idea. A place for creative multimedia work made by members could be discussed, reviewed etc.
I like the idea of sharing movie ideas and even movie work from fellow KMC members.
I can think of lots of members that have written scripts for movies, come up with movie ideas, etc.
I think that's just wonderful. I wish people would share their ideas more often.
Also, you can put your e-mail address in your profile and then just tell people to e-mail you if they are interested in participating in your film. As long as they don't have to pay you for their time and it's all in good fun, I don't see a problem with letting you KMC friends have first dibs on an amateur film you are making.
However, I don't know of an appropriate place for us to share our work on KMC. There really isn't a suitable place for that here. Maybe we should poll the members to see if there is enough support for something like this?
I DO know that atomfilms is a perfect place for amateur film makers to share their work. You should try that place, for sure.

I did state it was only for fun, sorta like a hobby, amateur work you know. I aint looking for the next Morgan Freeman or anything, simply a person with an american or British accent. Now that is a movie related subject; voice acting for a movie. "All things movie related" yeah?
Now to get back to my suggestion, I don't see why KMC should not have it's own real movie forum, what I mean by that is movies made by us the members, discussions about movie making, technical stuff, editing, directing, recommending which cameras to use, acting tips, you name it. Because ultimately this is a movie forum.
I mean there are forums for General Fiction, and also the Artwork Forum, people make stuff themselves, show it off on the forum here, discuss it etc. In a movie forum I think it would be obvious to have a sub-forum dedicated to well, movies! I think it is safe to say that movies is something that most of the members here on KMC share a common love/interested/passion (you decide what to call it) for.
Now some of these are bound to be interested in making movies themselves, not just watching what other people have done, but to create themselves!Now lets be completely honest here. Out of the mass which consists of KMC members, don't you think just as many if not more are actually somewhat interested in movie making of some sorts, or enjoys watching movies that are not multi million projects, or perhaps is involved in movie making rather then something like artwork?

As much as I think that a forum for movie making would fit well in this forum, I don't think it would generate much traffic and would sit as one of these stagnant pointless forums/sub forums that no one posts in.
I don't think there is enough people on the boards with that level of interest.
Case in point...You posted your email...How many people have replied to it from KMC?...My guess is probably none.
If Raz ever returns, and this forum picks up again. I think the Movie Genres should be made a sub-forum for movie discussions. I'm pretty sure that few of these genres do some-what get overlooked as most content would most likely stay in Movie discussion and those forum would pretty much be forgotten. Just a thought. My two scents and all.
