How come memers are allowed to make threads in the movie vs forum that involve characters but cannot use comic characters in the video game vs threads.
everyone in the movie vs forum is cool with keeping it on topic with movie related when using comic characters. so i believe the mebers should have a chance atleast for a week or so to try it out in the video game vs forum with using comic characters as long as they keep it video game related.
for example wolverine from marvel vs capcom vs vega.

No.
GK and I are never changing that rule. It's already been proven that it doesn't work in the larger Vs. forums on here (hint - the rules weren't always "must originate there only"😉.

Wouldn't that at least partly be acceptable in the movie vs. forum?
Though I do really like the idea of a general vs. forum where someone could try out different types of vs. threads. It might go all bad, but I think it is worth a try. I would even be willing to mod such a forum if that is the problem, I am online most of the time anyways, and I'd really like to see such a thing succeed. However I know Lana and Ush have strong feelings about it, and they might be totally right, it's just something I'd like to see, as experiment perhaps.
Well, I can tell you, as the Movie Mod, that the Movie Versus Forum is adequate for animated character fights, both traditional animation and CGI. As far as tv animated character matches go, you're kinda out of luck, methinks.
However, animated characters like Looney Tunes, who have appreared in actual films, like Space Jam, are acceptable, I guess. As long as the MVF Golden Rule is adhered to, though. It's saved a lot of us from steaming piles of shit.
