oh sweet lord, the people that say supes wins dont know much about Gladiator....He was made to copy pre crisis superman....yes his confidence has some effect on his powers but even when his confidence drops he is still the physical equal of the current superman....gladiator out supers superman in every catergory

This guy should not really be listened to much because he thinks Spider-Man could beat Superboy wich he can not without Superboy having his shield up wich could protect him from Spidermans weak ass punches compared to Superboys. I have seen Superboy lift up a building can Spiderman do that? Can Spiderman survive an explosion of a bomb infront of his face? Noooo.

Even at full confidence, Gladiator is nowhere near the level of PC Supes.
Yes - I believe that Gladiator is probably faster, stronger and indeed more badass than current Supes.
But leave PC Supes out of the equation. 🙂
It's actually a decent debate that Superman's powers may in fact also be based on will, just that his will is also the ultimate... See, when a major enemy comes [as he just cleans through regular enemies usually], they smack him up for a second, then he gets the "End it now before we run out of pages" mentality going, and then he seemingly has no limits and the same things that were hurting him before do not affect him or bounce off harmlessly. He'll even do stuff you didn't think was possible with the meager strength invulnerability speed flight and vision powers.

besides, i just need one glads supporter to tell me a time when glads scored a decisive win over anyone at superman's level . . .

ps-don't give me that 'ego' crap. it never happened in continuity, and 99.9% of the posters here don't even know WHERE it happened at all!

obvioulsy, because we all know how a confident glads did against the one-dimensional and INTELLIGENT hulk . . .🤨
and for the clowns out there -- that fight was over BEFORE the reactor bit. unless being dragged barely conscious by the scruff of your neck means you're in prime fighting condition. personally, i would have rather had hulk just keep beating on him rather than drag him bloodied and busted like he was, but . . . 😬
supreme was kicking his butt -- he had to fake being dead to end the fight, and hyperion is not at supes' level (feat wise there is no comparison and being a blatant supes knock-off does not mean you are at supes' level) though he DID seem to be a match powerwise (well, except for fighting skill) for glads . . . as for supreme -- he was a nutjob that started off well, but even this prec knockoff as you say didn't have feats like supes. image's thor (which seemed to me much weaker than marvel's) was giving supreme all he could handle and supreme himself only beat thor for the first time in the character's in book history in those early issues.
