Superman vs Gladiator.

pre-crisis superman would give gladiator a good fight.
Post-crisis superman would get killed in 10 minutes.
Gladiator(at full confidence) is as powerful and as fast if not faster than pre-crisis superman.

Pre-crisis superman: Juggle planets,sneeze galaxy away, push the moon, etc.

Gladiator: shoot massive amounts of energy,rip huge stars in half, near unlimited strength that just doesn't stop( unless he begins to loose confidence in himself), and etc.

Post-crisis superman: pull a few tricks out his a##.

As you can see, gladiator would crush the latter supes.

Gladiator got caught off guard by canonball's special attack.
Not to mention he was not very confident(I know it sounds stupid but his confidence is his real power). Any other time and he would've stood there and been uneffected by canonball ,but cannonball would have been knocked out by hitting such a dense powerhouse.

It's too complicated to argue...Bottomline is that the hulk beat the living CRAP out of Gladiator in a 1 on 1 confrontation, he had a stalemate with the man of steel...nuff said..yeah it probably was biased and a direct blow at DC but it happened and its official...

Besides, Superman defeated Doomsday whom judging by this board dwarfs the hulk in power...you do the math....Supes may have kicked the bucket as well but he did enough damage to Doomsday to kill him as well...

Well I think Superman restricts most of his powers and holds back because of this thing I read if he flew or ran to fast around citizenz that he would probably kill them if he went at his fullest speed also Mongul 2 said that Superman holds back on strength showing that all these devastating hits he has been giving out was nothing up to his full non holding back punches.

Supes will get his a$$ beat. Gladiator is way faster than Supes( Glads flies at a 100X the speed of light), and he is way more durable.

He can reach 100x in space, he can also react while traveling at lightspeed.
I.E him being able to see, and fight Thor while Thor was going multiples of light, the rest of the world couldn't see them because of their speed, Glad could.

Here Superman flys from the Earth to the Sun which is about 93 million miles away in what appears to be minutes cause he had no air-supply.

Ever since Superman trained with Mongol and Eradicator for Our World's at War, he's been on some whole new level. He smacks Darkseid around now, who used to outright KO pretty much everyone that even came with in distance by using Omega Beams, or no more than 3 punches.

Superman didn't change, Darkseid did.

Darkseid got de-powered.

Since both are almost identical in power, this would come down to fighting ability.
