Just once so far; my main three characters are about...level 25, I think.I have very little patience in fighting boss battles though so if I lose more than twice, chances are I'm going to get pissed and quit for a while...ermm
Leve up more, get the best weapons and equipment you can. Make sure all of your characters have all the HP+ augments and quickenings to give them more HP. And use esuna
I'm working on levelling right now, I bought that one accessory from the moogles in Eruyt Village that lets you get double LP...don't feel like spending money on more than one and I need to level up anyway, so I just keep swapping it back and forth between Ashe, Basch, and Vaan.
I have Esuna, I finally got Haste, I have all the HP+ Augments for my main characters (except one for 200+ for Ashe), and am getting the remaining Battle Lore Augments for the three while I level. Right now Ashe and Vaan are level 30, and Basch is about 1500exp from level 30. I've been walking through Ozmone Plains between the jungle and Giza and killing everything I come across, as well as committing Marlborocide in the jungle. Still won't touch the Hellhounds, though, got in a fight with two and ended up running like hell.
Levelling in FFXII is a lot more fun than other FF games, I'm finding...

They're for later.

I like the license system a lot, as much as I loved the sphere grid, it was very linear. This isn't.
Killed that stupid dragon, though it was a bit of a close one - at the end I only had Vaan and Ashe still alive, and basically spent every turn having Ashe keep the both of them alive. I went through 10 Ethers in that fight (which was my entire stock of them...). I did manage to Silence the bastard right off the bat, though, something I failed to do when I tried last night.
...fight would have been a lot easier if Esuna got rid of Oil.

I tried that. It never works on tough enemies for me, needless to say bosses, so I just gave up on using it on many if not all of the monsters.

does anybody try to do the mark hunts?
there are some insane monster to fight. so damn difficult. I try to do the white mouse hunt , ended up dead rather quickly (and there were 4 king malboros that I suposse I should have killed before fighting the flan) I went to fight the ring wyrm too, but gave up, cuz it was a way too long battle, It has tons of HP, and the bastard cast inmobilize all of the time. not that hard of a munster, but still, quite a long battle.
anyway, I'm on level 27-28 on my way to ozmose plain, just pass giza, but decided to do lil' sightseeing(while leveling up too), I'm on salikawood, lots of fun munster to kill 😄

Yeah, that thing is Silence-able, though you gotta try immediately as the fight starts. First time I tried I waited a bit and was unable to; second time I fought it I did right away and it worked.
I have 3 grimoires now (the ones for beasts and avions, giants and insects, and undead and amorphs), and have been using the double LP accessory with Ashe so I could finish getting her Augments faster so I could go back to getting her magicks. I also have been working out how long to get her last two Quickenings because damn if I don't need the MP boost.

I haven't actually been doing any hunts, I only did the first two. I usually don't spend any time doing sidequest stuff in FF games until it's later in the game.
Too bad at my point in the game Giza's gone back to the dry and all the monsters are like level 2-4...
When you get into the Ozmone Plain, there's monsters that look like Werewolves and they're called something like Zaghnaf. In some parts they're in groups of 3 or 4. They give 2 LP each so they're worth hacking away at and so long as the party leader has Protect on they won't be able to do too terribly much damage.
I at some point need to go back to the Nam-Yensa Sandsea and try and at least somewhat catch up Fran, Balthier, and Penelo to everyone else, level-wise...those three are level 17, while everyone else is level 31. Probably level in the Sandsea until they're about level 22 or so, then in Ozmone Plain.
But for now I'm heading into the Paramina Rift.

So is that what the 3rd grimoire is or, the undead and amorphs? Because I know it has this name like "Constructs" or something and although I bought it, I have no idea what that means.
I have 3 of those Double LP things and 3 Double EXP Points things. I don't know who has what though, but yeah...I wish you could equip both kinds to each character instead of one at a time. It's hard for me to decide.
Well I know when I start playing again, I'm going to make sure my 3 leads have the Double EXP Points item b/c I really need to level up to progress and since it wouldn't do any good for it to be on my 3 weaker characters b/c it doesn't work unless you actually use them in battle. At least the Double LP item works even if you don't use the character.
I'll have to go back to an earlier area like you if I want to level up my 3 back up characters.

I'm not buying the grimoires in order...well, not really. I bought the Warmage one because it was the next cheapest, I think.
Constructs are things like machines and stuff like that, I think. Check the Bestiary, I know there's one monster from Raithwall's Tomb that's classed as a Construct, but I can't remember the name of it.
Yeah, that's what I was talking about. I'll have to talk to more shop owners.
I'm trying to think if I skipped any b/c I'm pretty sure I go into every shop when I get into a new area/city/town.
When does your Winter Break begin? Have you been playing FFXII since you've beaten the Wyrm?
