What the hell else would i look forward too??

How can another show be this good?

QFT

Feeling it also. 🙁

The rest of my life will be spent nostaligically pawing through the DVD/Blurays trying to recreate the feeling of wonder, suspense, excitement, electricity and the all round sensation to communing with something truely, truely awesome via your telly that this series has been.

One of the absolute best TV shows of all time.
Right up there with the first couple of TV series of Star Trek, and Family Guy.

decent, but pretty good episode tonight..

lost is easily in my top 20 of all time fave tv shows

You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

Teacher Ben should have black-mailed the principal after she got accepted to Yale. That's the kind of double-cross Ben is known for. In fact, it might happen in a later episode.

You want to try another stick?

I don't think so. Alternate Ben was never corrupted by the island. He backed down and I think that's the end of it.

Right. So if the island was to be destroyed by the incident in Daddy Jack's/Teacher Ben's reality and the Oceanic 6 never went back there to the seventies to cause the detonation, then what destroyed it...?

(Evidence for this: Dharma was there, the village was on there, Ben was on there with Roger then they left before what ever it was took place.. and the whole place looked like it had been submerged a while by their 2004.)
Is its something to do with the volcanic nature of the island?
(it was mentioned as being volcanic in the new otherton school, what we presume to be volcanic ash round the island.)

Will they donkey wheel it away underwater..?

Will Widemore destroy it..?

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh *Scanners moment*

For me it's the best series since Twin Peaks... the only one really in the ranks of Lost. Or the other way around.. hehehehe

"Immortality is not a gift, but everyman is a candidate for it" - Dr Iqbal. Urdu poet.

I think of this allot as I watch the show now.

Could be possible that widmored destroyed it.

Why did Richard tell hurley not to trust the jacob that he's been talking to?

Why can't these cadidates die or kill themself?

Jack tried to kill himself once. Didn't happen. Jacob gave him the gift as well right? When he came into contact with jack.

Locke tried to as well, Didn't happen (Linus finished the job) .

Maybe MiB and Jacob were given this gift also from the person above them? Because they seem to not be able to kill eachother. **** im lost.

Fake Locke to Richard after stepping out of the foot of the statue: "Nice to see you out of those chains." What was Richard examining in the Black Rock before going to the dynamite? Chains!

I knew it a long time ago... just look at my avi 😄

just wait to see episode 9

Wonderful episode, I absolutely loved it, to me it's by far the best ep this season

I think it's a big possibility that the what happens/happened to the island has nothing to do with the bomb, maybe someone travels back in time again, and then it's sumerged. We do have a timeframe however (70's/80's)

everyone who's been touched won't die it seems, at least not by their own hands. Does that mean that all the candidates are immortal like Richard?

Richard told Hugo not to trust Jacob because Richard himself is disappointed with Jacob, seeing as he now thinks his entire life has been a waste

BTW: Widmore's sub.... somthing might happen there ... like a big

Spoiler:
bang while some are inside
... and then will be left with
Spoiler:
fewer cast members
😄

Or

Spoiler:
fewer cadidates
😉

Don't forget Michael. When he and Walt were back in New York (I think), and Michael kept trying to kill himself but Mr. Smiley told him that he couldn't die, the island wouldn't let him.

I understood it to be a cause and effect thing... based on knowledge of the future.

Maybe its that they have to be able to make it because of their irrevocable deeds that are tied to the island in their future.

I assume that in Michael's case it was because Smokey/Christian Sheppard knew Micheal'd be there later on to save the other candidates that were due to be on the deck on that helicopter later on.

Still no idea who that kid is.

I'm still getting the God/Satan vibe from Jacob and Esau. Each episode makes it clearer.

As ben was pouring his guts out to ilana you can see in her face that she doesnt want to forgive but does so anyway most likely in the name of jacob.

Esau did nothing to Illana. He could have torn her to pieces himself but didn't. She's most likely protected under jacob as well, don't see why not.

Esau is "recruiting" and promising to give people their deepest wishes without mentioning a "catch" and kills those who wont follow. Where jacob would tell you, as he told Dogen, that there is a catch. Equivilant exchange. Another example is when he gave the real locke his life back after being pushed out of a window, but he was left in a wheel chair in that life.

Locke and Esau have been encountering eachother quite a lot on the island. Locke seems to be used by people a lot on this show. Smokey also used mr eko to regain johns faith back into the island (or so he thinks)

He stated that he saw the heart or eye of the island (forgot which) and said how beautiful it was. (again another illusion by mib?) and How the "island" is telling him what to do. How did he possess so many skills on the island? (like claire) Was Locke claimed? Is it possible that locke died on the plane crash and was claimed by MiB? From the beginning of season 1, locke seems like the strangest character in the entire show.

MiB and jacob seem to be equal or the same, yet work in different ways.

Evil incarnate.

I don't think Jacob we've seen since his death has been Jacob at all. Perhaps acouple of times prior to his death as well. We've seen that the, smoke monster or "UnLocke" can appear as anyone you might have known before they died so it makes sense.

Illyana already stated that MIB is stuck in the form of Locke.

They aren't God or Satan.

But yes imagery of that nature is being used.
For the purposes of misdirection, I believe.

Then how does he turn into the black smoke? And Dogen told Sayid that he would look like some one he'd known that had died. Didn't sound like he thought it had to be Locke! 😕

I know I had the same thought when Jack smashed the mirror, I was sure that was Locke pretending to be Jacob to mess with him. I was telling my girlfriend even before thats why I bet he'd told them to save Sayid as soon as he died and when they got to the mirror that he was meaning to piss him off and mess with his head. But I was having the same doubts after hearing them say he was stuck as Locke now. Then Richard said not to trust the Jacob they'd been seeing and I'm right back to believing its really UnLocke again.

Jacob is not the Man in Black.

When the Man In Black takes someones form - anyone can see him.

Nobody but Hurley can see Jacob.
