The Hobbit: Movie

Silmarillion would be kind of hard, since there's so many stories all blended together as well as the big story. but the final battle against Morgoth would be really awesome

The Hobbit should be a movie.I wish Jackson would make it into a movie.The Silmarillion would be too hard to make into a movie.Allso I try to read it but could not understand it at all.JM

I just read that MGM has Merged with Sony studious and sense mgm owns rights to the hobbit now that they are part of sony which new line is part of sony they now owner rights to hobbit but won't be made in ant time soon I read today that peter Jackson is going to do ww1 epic next after king Kong just thought update you.

Nah, I'd much rather see the Silmarillion than The Hobbit. Although they should split it into lots of films to get all the stuff in. And Jackson could condense it. And you know it would be good. The battles would just rock! And he could easily get the threshold numbers - he's got a following. I mean comeon - we need something to make our decenber again!

But The Hobbit is the prequel to the Lord of the Rings, so it would make sense for him to make it.
