Let me remind you of what we are talking about before you lose track. You spoke about Batman winning his battles because of BS. This statement let to some trade back between the two of us. Which is where we are now as of this post of mind.

nope i don't agree....sure bruce may be smarter....but not to the degree that spidey dwarf him in strenght....Spidey is say 15 times stonger than bats (this is just a guess) whereas bats is about 5% smarter than spidey (in certain situations).....but I would say that spidey's ability to think on the fly is better then bats

I suppose for batman's part thinking five steps ahead of his opponent, does not qualify as thinking on the fly?

Yeah 5 percent smarter in knowledge. 5 times smarter in tactics. 5 times smarter in deduction, and I'm sure there's some stuff I'm leaving out.

That's just the thing, Bat's doesn't need prep to think ahead of his opponents, If he has prep he just doenst' think 5 moves ahead, he plans out the entire fight 30 different ways.

Batman style is more defensive, probably from his martial arts training. He waits until the right moment, the right trap and he attacks then.

Prep time would make them almost equal. However! Bats can definitely disable Spidey's senses, and that's a major blow. On the other hand, Spidey can't do much other than fight Bats hand to hand and webbing. Knock-out gas, bullets, etc... Bats is has gadgets against all of that.

Looking at Dark Knight returns, Bats went toe to toe with Supes (even before Kryptonite was used). Bats has gone toe to toe with Bane. Aren't either of these characters more powerful than Spidey?

I have to say Bats wins this one, simply because Spidey's weaknesses are more obvious to figure out.

Man we're talking about four limbs of cement breaking, tree busting power, technique only helps so much, Imagine all those world class martial artists, were getting creamed by goro.

Yes preptime makes them equal, but none is overkill for batman. You guys make hitting look so innefective, when bats has had trouble with joker,penguin, and simple thugs.

Yes, but that was also when bats became all badass, look at his time with simple villans, and he had trouble with simple goonies.
Batman is often shown to do ridiculously well, since he has no powers, and has to show himself,and prove himself more than others, but in this match it is pure logic, and by using that batman is downed by a few hits, easily.

Is there a spidrknite I'm not aware of, batman's weakness is that he's simply weaker, and can't exploit his intelligence over spidey, like many DC characters.

Spider-Man, a superhuman, vs Batman, a regular man. I would say Spider-Man. I know Batman has the wits and technology, but Spider-Man is no dummy. Spider-Man wins this just because he is stronger and much faster than Batman.

Spiderman is like batman with better physical ability, some people just have a creative side and like coming up with reasons for bats to win

I agree..Batman has the strength and smarts.

Ok Batman Could win but only 3 times out of 10 because spidey will not suspect Batman , and under estimate him, but once spidey sees hes a sick man...very sick man.. Spidey will beat on Bats.
