For those who thought the "Bear" anology was a poor one how about I use this little scenario in place of it..let's say you've trained your entire life as a martial artist, studying every fighting technique in the world. You go out into the jungles of Africa one day, unarmed with no weapons. All of the sudden a 600 lb Silverback gorilla jumps in front of you and starts beating its chest..ready for a fight. You have no where to run, and are forced to confront this beast head on. Who do you think has the advantage in this battle? The Trained martial artist, or the silverback gorilla?

The polar bear analogy made sense.
We all know what cars do when they hit people, missing limbs, etc. So you can expect this or worse...

Better, but still inaccurate. As you said, a male silverback gorilla weighs 600 lbs, whereas Spidey weighs a mere 165 lbs. You cannot man-handle a gorilla like you can Spider-Man. Gorillas also have, and make use of, very large teeth and fangs.
I know the argument would be made of, "Well, even if the gorilla weighed 100 lbs, it's strong enough so that one shot would kill you. So what's the point of the weight?" Well, I'm not arguing that notion. However, its weight does add to its ability to absorb damage. Not to mention, it uses its immense power to swing an extremely heavy object (its arm) your way.

Being hit by a huge, 3-ton metal object at high speed isn't quite the same as being hit by Spidey's (pulled) fist.
Just don't compare 'Batman v Spidey' to 'Person v Animal'. It just doesn't work. Not to mention, this isn't a 'No Holds Barred' match like with the trio - Spidey won't throw all of his power into his strikes.
Actually I thought the Bear analogy was a good one, but I'm just trying to prove a point to those who don't want to use any type of logical parameters to debate by. Gorilla's don't have claws like bears, and like humans, they are classified as primates. So I believe this battle would be a good comparison between a fight between someone with martial arts training fighting with someone without any training who iss much stronger/durable/faster than the martial artist.
On a side note..I wanted to mention that Gorillas tend to contain much more muscle mass than humans, making them much more durable than humans. These guys beat there bodies very hard with fists that could easily kill an average man..so I'm guessing a punch to the body wouldn't be all that effective. And they are also very fast and agile, seeing as how they have demonstrated the ability to outrun/outmaneuver many predators in the wild. So who has a better chance of winning, the Gorilla or the martial artist?
The Kingpin himself is more like a gorilla than Spider-Man. Gorillas have added muscle mass? Spider-Man does not. In fact, he is comparatively small to most of the other heroes in comic books due to his lightweight's build. He's more of a swimmer or acrobat's build than a bodybuilder's, which is more akin to a gorilla's albeit a more primitive style.
Did somebody say fighting gorillas?

So spiderman is losing because he doesn't want to really beat batman, tis unfair... unfair I tell ya...
That's CIS, man. Unfortunately for Peter, Batman can afford to go all out on him (other than using deadly force or weapons) because he can take it. Because Spider-Man is one of those ultra-goody heroes, unlike Wolvie who will use deadly force like breathing or Daredevil who is particularly brutal with his fighting techniques, he won't use his strength in a huge striking advantage. He will, however, use it toss Batman around like a doll or use it overpower him should they get really close.

The fact that SM has the ability to support 10+tons, points to his muscles being denser than that of an average human..which in turn leads to the conclusion that his body contains more muscle mass than that of an average human. His skeletal structure is also denser as well.
Like Spider Man, an average gorillas body is denser than that of an average man, therefore, the analogy is a sound one. However to make this match a bit more fair, lets say that the Gorilla has a muzzle on it's mouth, negating its ability to bite the martial artist. So with this stipulation being made, who has the better chance of winning this challenge?

It was a comparison on who would win a fight, if both wanted to, and we all know that answer...
Hey, but I think I found the answer to Spidey's durability after doing some research and some thinking.
Spidey's not a very big guy. We know this. You look at the art and see that he really possesses a slight build, not to mention that we know he was a nerdy science kid who had no real talent or capability for athletic ability. As such, as his 'compact' size he doesn't possess much muscle mass, making him inherently less durable than, say, Captain America, who is a bigger guy by far. However, due to the nature of Peter's strength, his muscles would be more dense, making up for his size, putting him on par with Cap in terms of physical durability.
Makes sense to me, anyway.

Thats why, there was a comic where a guy punched spiderman's hand and broke it. On the palm of his hand, so yea peters a tough guy.
