so is everyone gonna be watching it the day it comes out?
I heard the character with all the powers at the end which everyone thinks is Dealpool, really isn't.
Apparently, it's Weapon X who is played by a completely different actor.
I really don't see how there could be so much confusion about a character, but then again I haven't seen the movie.
Is there any truth to this?
Anyone else hear something like this?

No I have not heard that, but I will find out in just a few days
Just finished watching it.
Spoiler:
Wade becomes Weapon XI apparently, but is remote controlled by Stryker. Yes, Stryker types in orders on his computer and they're carried out. Like, "decapitate" to try and decapitate Wolverine.
Huge disappointment really. Sabretooth and Stryker were good, the rest were pretty awful. Wolverine was okay at times....

I mean I for one don't even try to compare it to 616 comics. It pointless. It a completely different reality, were characters are not the same nor there histories.
wierdly enough wraith was extremely accurate to his comic counter part.
Hmm .. Ironman was a GREAT movie, but I didn't know the character before watching it since I had never even dabbled in comics as a kid and discovered the X-Men late (through the first movie and then, through writing in an online roleplaying game, branching out into research about the characters from there). As such, I went into the Ironman movie with no expectations at all and was blown away by how it brought a thus far unknown character to life for me.
Into the Origins movie, I went with much more expectations of how I expected Logan to be and what the characters should be like. Out of the 3 previous X-Men movies, X2 to me was the epitome of a great movie with a good balance between exposition, humor and action, creating a nice and dense atmosphere in which the comic heroes could come to life in their movie personas. Of course there are some things about X2 that I didn't care for, but overall, the movie left me enjoying it tremendously.
The very same thing can be said (at least in MY personal opinion) about Wolverine Origins. While there might be a few things that I'm not too keen on, overall, the movie weaves a great atmosphere, mixes humor with action very well, brings memorable characters to life (that, yes, of course, are NOT completely their comic counterparts but are recognizable enough to make my inner fangirl feel at home with them) and all in all, entertained ME tremendously (and I've seen it twice - the first time focusing on the rollercoaster ride of the action movie, the second time being able to sit back and more leisurely focus on whether there are hugely gaping plotholes that the action glossed over in the first viewing).
So .. long story short .. I am putting it on par with X2, and enjoyed it as much as Ironman, though in a different way (like I said, because I had much more preconceived notions about Wolverine than I ever did Ironman).
Now, as for 'hidden' endings - I won't spoil anything for anyone here but .. there are 2 (!) additional blurbs that you can catch if you don't run out of the theater first light on. The first blurb comes a few stills into the credits and involves Stryker. The second blurb you have to wait through the complete credit run-down for (yup, booooooring .. I hate it when they make me wait that long 😛) and it involves Wolverine one last time. So .. stay seated if you can focus through all the names and names and .. more names 😛
Wow this movie was just embarrassing....one of the worst I've seen in a while. I thought it hit a trough 30 minutes into the movie but it actually got worse as it went on...oh and plot device towards the end meh.
As for comparing the cameos to their 616 counterparts I ignored it, cause most were vastly different, they should have just given them different names entirely and yes the perfect example is Emma Frost who should have been Diamond Lil instead.
I don't understand how people can claim that this was a "good" movie, when it's actually awful by most accounts. They tried to force 10 hours worth of storyline into 2 hours and so many characters were off. What the hell happened in Wolverine vs Gambit? I was crying tears of blood...
