Three issues doesn't say how much time it took. Saying how much fighting happened and talking would but not issues. It took Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Temari one issue to get to the Sand Village...but it was three days. An issue can be any amount of time from a second to years. They've shown more speed than people like Thing have or Colossus, from all I've seen anyway of Thing or Colossus. Compared to Superman plenty of people are slow so that's a bad comparison. Where do you think they rank in speed?

Judging by how much transpired in those three issues, I'm sure it took him more than five minutes. As for their speed, they are far below light speed. The only people who can move at lightspeed are Kid Buu, Kibitoshin, Goku, & Cell but only when they use Instant Transmission.

I agree, when Smallville Clark is in superspeed time is frozen

But that is a different thread

Just imagine if Kal-El from the season four premiere fought a DBZ character without restraint. The bout wouldn't last two minutes.

IT is way above Light Speed..But that isn't movement speed so it really doesn't matter. And of course they are below light speed. Also Piccolo didn't exactly revive close to the battle. I don't think they move at speed of sound by the end of the series but I think they could probably come close to it. We could get at least a lowest speed if we knew how fast their cars were since Present Trunks finds driving his flying car to slow.

Yes, he wasn't revived by the battlefield but he still went at full speed flying & he still arrived there three issues later.

Yes, but how far away was he? A few miles, halfway around the planet. Five minutes could be fast or slow depending.

He wasn't that far, he kept stating that he wasn't that far away but he said that for two issues before he arrived on the battlefield. The quickest anyone has ever gotten onto a battlefield was Goku when he arrived whilst Freeza was beating Vegeta to a pulp.

Well Gokou wasn't that far away at all if I recall. I mean Gohan and Krillen didn't go that far to use the dragonballs. Unless Freeza and them moved before Gokou came but I can't remember.

He wasn't too far away but he still got there pretty damn fast.

Moving on, I'd love to see a Dragon Ball series made somewhat like Smallville. There wouldn't need to be too much money used on special effects.

A live action series about Gokou? Why we have DragonBall cartoon for that. Maybe a live action series about Grandpa Gohan and Master Roshi that is like Smallville would be cool. See them fight in the tournament against each other and Crane Master. I dunno I just think that would be cool. The adventured of Grandpa Gohan.

Dude, that idea sucks. I don't want to see a cartoon about Grandpa Gohan & the pervert that is Master Roshi. Btw, a cartoon & live action TV series are two different things, which is why I want a live action Dragon Ball show about Goku, not Grandpa Gohan or Master Roshi.

It may suck to you but I think it would be cool too see Master Roshi at his prime, and Granpa Gohan training and doing the tournaments. More martial arts not having to worry about the whole who has the larger power level or that there beam may destroy the Earth or something.

I don't think a live action series would be a good idea, maybe CG, the effects would be to over the top.

For Dragon Ball very little special effects would need to be used. I said DB, not DBZ.

Honestly, Grandpa Gohan sucks & although Master Roshi is somewhat funny, he sucks as well. I'd rather see the adventures of a kid Goku than of two old windbags.

Speaking of live action things..has there been anything new about the DBZ movie?

No.

Except that Roshi and Gohan were master martial artist. Gohan isn't seen, and Roshi was good during DB and I think he'd be even better if it shows him when Gohan was training under him. Plus it would be more martial arts instead of blasts and villains destroying the world. And I don't mean a live action show with them..I just mean a new series in general that could go back to the ways of DB.

eh i dont care for the idea too muh the show was about enery. it would be interesting. a live action dbz thing would be handled terribly. i love the show but i think it would be a disaster. plus not any good actors to voice roshi when he does come in.

Dragon Ball does involve a lot of martial arts so what the hell are you talking about? Energy beams aren't even used that much in Dragon Ball.

wow rereading my post that was explained terribly. sorry mirai. i meant that energy would be rendered terribly, it would probably end up cloning smallville or another superhero show. plus there wouldnt be good actors to fit the roles in my opinion. second for goku since he was a child they would need a child actor who was ten to fit the role. guess who they'll cast, a 15 year old. live action screws it all up. besides can u imagine a movie/show like that? a ten year old beats the shit out of some grown men? rediculus
