I think the question of choice vs genetics is moot - all sexuality is an aesthetic decision on some level. i think this quote says it all...imo. It has to do with your upbringing and personal experiences.

That doesn't really apply to homosexuality though.

It's also been proven that large hips are sexually attractive (to many) because of their biological superiority in terms of child bearing.

this is why they are part of a group of characteristics temed secondary sexual characteristics.

Very well said Turbo-Cajun! In my opinion homosexuality is not normal, coz it's like breaking nature rules. We were created to be with the opposite sex, to give birth to kids. But of course it's optional and each person chooses his sexual preferences himself. If he is happy being homosexual, it's his right.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them.

I'm going to argue against my own point of view here, hopefully we can get an answer to this question that has always perplexed me.

One of the only things I can think of that goes anywhere near proving that homosexuality is a learned behavior is the rules of attraction.

What I'm reffering to, is that in gay culture(which is a term I despise) there seems to be a huge preference to white men. I'm not saying that all other ethnic groups are only attracted to white men. But, there is a huge preference for them. I'm not attracted to black men, but I do like some asian men. But, practically every single gay black man I know dates exclusivly white men...and it's the same with asian and hispanic gay men.

So, how do you guys explain that? Because it's one of the only aspects of teh argument that I haven't been able to figure out, or form an opinion on.

LOL! People, I'm not denying that everyone seems to, if they had their preference, choose white over non-white. I'm asking why, and how that could effect homosexuality.
