Its just relating facts, and there it is related some studies done that lead some to conclude that it can be a sexual orientation. What I´ve found specially interesting is that in their study of the "extend of occurrence" of pedophilia in society, the results show that 32,5% exhibited sexual arousal to pedophilic stimuli that equaled or exceeded their arousal to the adult stimuli. 32,5% is more than what I expected, it means that a lot of people feel sexual arousal to pedophilic stimuli, and homosexuals are a good part of population too... Is all of them ill, or it is just as natural as homosexuality is ?

We can get into pedophilia if you want to start a thread or ressurect an old one. I will not continue to discuss the subject in a thread on homosexuality. So, start one and we'll talk about it there.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the boy who couldn't tell his father he was gay, afraid of a reaction that could crush our relationship.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the woman who died when the EMTs stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. (yes, this actually happened)

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didnt have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

I am the person ashamed to tell my own friends im a lesbian, because they constantly make fun of them.

I am the boy tied to a fence, beaten to a bloody pulp and left to die because two straight men wanted to "teach me a lesson"

I am alone in this world because I came out to my parents at 21 and now I am dead to them.

I survived father physically beating me for 9 years and survived a partner abusing me for 4 years and yet no support to turn to.

I am the boy that calls myself Metro-sexual because I am afraid to admit to myself Im Gay.

I like it, it highlights some of the problems homosexuals seem to face. It shows what ignorance can do....

I might enjoy it more if I appreciated the inclusion of transexuals as part of the homosexual community. It's not a topic I'm familiar with, so I can't really comment. I'd be interested to see any information about scientific studies done on transexuals.

I'll admit, I don't understand them. I don't feel uncomfortable around them, I've spent a lot of time in their company....,but their motivation escapes me. But, then again, I don't understand gay men who are attracted to men in drag. The difference? I admit that I don't understand everything. Nor do I believe that my understanding be enforced on others.

Well, I guess I understand Homosexuals as much as I understand Transsexuals as much as I understand Bi-sexuals as much as I understand Paedophiles....heck, I don'Ät even understand heterosexuals and I am sure I am one...but I think everyone has the right to do as they please as liong as it is not harmful to their surrounding (basically even beyond but society has a reason to put a halt on it) .... what I like about the...poem, por whatever that form is called, that it shows situations that jsut aren't fair....and I don't think anyone can deny that, but at the same time they are obviously real...or at least could be.

Some of it aren't only homosexual propblems either. It jsut makes something clear...

Trannies are picked on when they are not themselves. They are effeminate by nature. We had a kid at school who was a real softy and was picked on daily just by simply ruffling his bowl cut hair.

Today he is a she and doesnt get picked on.

I think it may be genetic. Who in their right mind would see some gay guy getting his a$$ kicked and say "I wanna be like him"? I don't remember choosing to be straight & like girls. I just like girls.

Just b/c one may be homosexual or Bisexual doesn't mean they want to be like the homsexual or bisexual that's being beaten.

Being homosexual or bisexual doesn't mean that will happen to you. Hey, the homosexual or bisexual may be the one beating those that would wish to beat them.

This is true, I was the closet gay in high school that motivated others to pick on the obviously gay kids.
