As I have said before, it doesn't matter if it's "chosen" or "genetic". It exists, it exists in most species. It's a fact of life. For no other reason, other than it doesn't hurt anyone, homosexuality is a valid lifestyle*

*I hate this term, as it implies a choice has been made to live that way.

This proves homosexuality is not a choice. If society is still so archaic and medieval in regards to sexuality, that teenagers take their own life rather than openly admit they’re attracted to their own gender, then it is NOT a choice.
Why not simply “chose” to be attracted to the opposite sex and not feel so weighed down by something which should be both natural and beautiful (sex between consenting adults)?

Agreed !! When you saif about its not a choice and that teenages would rather KILL THEMSELVES, rather then admit they're different or gay!! Its totally right. People can't even tell their parents about them being gay, because they're afraid of what they might say or dis-own them. its stupid just because they like the same sex, and they can't even help it. That take their own lives because this world is too screwed to except that everyone is different.

Of course it matters why a person kills themselves, and it is a terrible situation where some poor kid feels their only option is to kill themselves because they don't think their sexuality would be accepted. No one should have to feel like that. No one. Period.

Homosexuality is not unnatural. It is not something to be ashamed of. It is not something that needs to be hidden. And no, it's not chosen. Nor is it genetic. There is a whole other realm in humanity, it is most probably a psychological reason. Something from the mind. The mistake then is thinking "ah, then it is chosen", because thats not at all right. A gay person doesn't choose it, it just is. But not because deep in the genes is something that says "you must be gay". No, it is the deeper mind, the parts we don't control.

yea, you can't chose to be gay. I bet that there is no one in this thread who if they had the choice would chose to be gay!! I mean no really likes it, but they have to accept it. Exactly, no one wakes up, or one day says "I will be gay", it is just what they are, it is what is right to them. Take Napalm for example, there is no way he could choose to be gay, as that is not what he is. There is not really any choice, we don't have much power over who we find sexually attractive or appealing, or who we fall in love with or whatever.

Kids couldn't help being born a Jew and yet they did nothing wrong.

Here we come back to Gay people. They are still humans; your sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, friends, husbands, wives and yet you still love them. If you have got no one who is gay then you might not understand. But they are the same person, they are the same person deep down but they like other people.
