If you got given the choice to be a lesbien or not, what would you choice? I mean if you were given by God or who ever the choice to like male sex and male sex only and be like everybody would you?? And can I ask you one more thing: do you get looked down, or anything like that because you like the same sex?
Which is sad. People should be respected, although its quite a good sign that, looking back over these posts the majority of posters seem to express support for people who are gay, homosexual, however one wishes to see it, which is quite positive. The sooner the world sees that discriminating against gays is not going to eliminate homosexuality, the better, as it does nothing but hurt people who really don't deserve to be hurt. Forcing them to hide it is not going to stop people feeling that way, as it is not a conscious choice, it is something deeper.

I'd chose to be a Lesbian, because I am a Lesbian, I just don't like men. I've got a wonderful girlfriend that I wouldn't give up for any man, and yeah it'd be alot easier if I was straight because some people are really stupid and don't get that love is love no matter what but would I chose to be straight if God gave me the choice,No I wouldn't.
I do get looked down on some but for the most part people are ok with it, my family had a really hard time when I first came out but their pretty much over it now and I really don't care anymore what other people think, It's my life I'll love whoever I want and if people can't deal with it that's their problem.

God made Adam and Eve, and they were Man and Woman. He implyed that they shouild get together and start this world off. So there is our first Man and Woman couple. As for homosexuality being chosen or genetic, I personally think it's neither. Seeing how society in large still treats gays like an abnormality, I doubt anyone would actually pick homosexuality if they had a choice.
But for me, I've never had any issues with the fact that I'm lesbian, mainly cos my country (Netherlands) and especially its capital is very open when it comes to homosexuality, or all people who are different for that matter. Like orenfan, I just love women and would never choose men over my wife just for the sake of being seen as 'normal'.
