Homosexuality: Chosen or Genetic?

Genetics determine homosexuality. Study biology and psychology. You'll find that data and research points towards nature rather than nature. You choose what college to attend. You choose what food to buy at a food market. You choose whether or not to watch a movie. Choice is free will. You do not choose your sexual orientation. A gay man does not choose to get an erection at the sight of a naked man. A gay man does not choose to be aroused by male pheromones which are odorless, tasteless and invisible except only to the nervous system. Choice has nothing to do with it. Nature does.

This subject is so boring to me. I have no idea whether or not it's genetic, but it sure as hell isn't chosen. When it comes to homophobes, the bottom line is, you can't make people change their opinion if they believe something based on their religion. Hell, I don't even want to. They can believe whatever the hell they want as long as they remain respectful.

What's rather hilarious though, is that so many straight people seem to think a gay man or woman will try to jump them at any opportunity. Like last Friday night, some insanely unattractive, 300-pound whale told me to keep my hands to myself when I accidentally bumped into her at the bar, because she knows what "my kind" is like. I was like, B!tch, I wouldn't touch you with a stick. 😄

we got homosexual people too and they don't have a () symbol as far as i know, but i do think it's totally not a choice thing, no-one chooses who they're attracted to, i like women but i don't control which ones i find attractive, i'm either attracted or i'm not.......... no choice involved, you can however choose to act on any attractions you feel and i believe people should be allowed to do so without persecution........ within reason obviously, i'm not condoning rape here
