So now we know about Haki, we know its Mantra but we still don't know how powerful is the royal haki.

I thought Zoro would be trained by Mihawk.

Always thought Haki was related to Mantra, during the fight with Enel, he seemed to be able to hurt Luffy with his staff.

Oh yes, definitely.

It might be part of a larger arc, but they'll all get to be awesome.

Hm. It strikes me the New World is still going to be a challenge for them when they arrive, which probably says people like Urouge and Apoo were fairly foolish to rush in at their current levels.

You don't see your first Admiral until 300 or so.

And in the Marines, power generally equals rank, so they're all badasses.

Akainu embodies "Absolute Justice" better than just about every other character, it's a safe bet IMO.

Akainu's badass. Killed Ace and shit. Told Luffy to go **** himself.

I find it odd that Blackbeard and his powerful crew had to run from Akainu, also wondering if Sengoku and Garp will still have a role in the next arc now that they've retired...

I don't think they had-to-had-to, they just thought it was a good idea. Blackbeard's still figuring out his power, they don't have a ship, fighting could easily destroying their transportation or cost them some of their new crew even if they win.

Hard to say what Akainu brought with him on that battleship too.

Blackbeard is a Devil Fruit user, and Akainu could have easily destroyed what was keeping them afloat.

Blackbeard once he begins mastering his powers will probably be at or above the level of an Admiral IMO.

Now that we know more about haki, has the "my logia overrides your logia" ever been explained?...

I'm guessing since they share the same rank that the admirals are roughly equal, though if I were to choose i'd put Kizaru first with Akainu and Aokiji tied for second in terms of logia power only...

BB will be one of the big baddies, probably THE big bad who's not with the government. He's achieved much by planning so he doesn't need to go try winning everything by sheer power if he doesn't have to.
