Now that we know more about haki, has the "my logia overrides your logia" ever been explained?...

I'm guessing since they share the same rank that the admirals are roughly equal, though if I were to choose i'd put Kizaru first with Akainu and Aokiji tied for second in terms of logia power only...

It's hard to say.

In terms of pure destructive power I would say Akainu is first, Kizaru's fruit gives his attacks far greater speed, and Aokiji's is probably harder to defend against, due to the nature of the power.

I guess you're right...

I must say though that when you think about it, Aokiji's ice age is pretty sick in terms of scope, as when he froze the surrounding waters of an island in order for some people to get to the next island. That's alot of water and he did it with one finger...

either way, the next admiral has got some pretty big shoes to fill, literally and figuratively...

I wonder what happened with Moria. Also, in case its never explained, my guess about Blackbeard stealing powers is because its darkness, and it shares the power stealing that also Moria's shadow share.

Or some other nonesense 😄

Some devil fruit trump each other in a 'Rock-paper-scissors' way and it's not always obvious what trumps what until they hit each other.

It looks to me like Moria used a shadow teleport power to bug out.

As for Blackbeard's stealing power, his devil fruit is really that of gravity, or taking stuff in. For a normal attack, he sucks stuff in. When he touches a devil fruit user, he drains energy from them preventing them from using their ability. Stealing Whitebeard's power was probably an extension of that.

Moria's shadow-stealing doesn't steal power, really, just gain control of the shadow which mimics someone's strength but not any DF powers. The shadows have strength via a sympathetic link to the original, basically. Other than both being dark, their powers are fairly unrelated.

Was that actually explained or are you pissing on my speculation?

😄

How each of them works is fairly spelled out, Blackbeard talks about his powers being gravity, and we get to see Moria's shadow fruit's mechanics in a lot of detail.

well, odz didn't have the gomu gomu power with luffys shadow

I understand homie, but I am talking about logias, specifically the way Ace died. No doubt the admirals are higher up the foodchain than Ace, it's just that I guess it would sorta be less confusing if Akainu was able to punch a hole through Ace due to haki and not because magma pwns fire...

The only explanation is that of different interactions among Logia, magma beats fire and that's the way it is.

Crocodile comments how you often don't know how devil fruit powers will interact until you see them face each other.

Magma beats fire, fire can match smoke or darkness or ice, etc..

i wonder what would happen in a fight between Crocodile and Smoker, that would be awesome...

Smoker would stomp that ass through sheer awesomeness.

Hm, neither seem well-disposed to hurting the other. Smoker does have his seastone jette, but I bet Croc could handle/disarm that.

How the hell did Zolo/Zoro lift a goddamn house?!

Hard work 🙂

Superhuman strength is something you can train for in the OP world.

lifting houses is an awesome feat but is still mediocre compared to the high end ones, there are tons of class 100 characters in OP, you'll find that out soon enough as you progress through the series...

Garp and Gozu have each respectively lifted 1,000,000 ton objects.

Garp threw one.

Superhuman strength in OP gets pretty hardcore.

I still want to know where zoro learned that nine bladed attack.

They practice in-between arcs in One Piece. Though I think he finally 'unlocked' it during the Kaku fight- it's primarily a method of manifesting one's spirit to manifest extra arms. Pretty simple when you get down to it.
