Sure there is. Kizaru doesn't constantly move at the speed of light or anything, consider Rayleigh being able to fight him. Lightspeed is a point-to-point movement ability for him with more normal speed in between a light-jump.

And Mjolnir does do energy absorption.

Railegh uses that Haki thing of his. that's what's cool about OP chars. They can dodge light speed attacks because of it.

I think Kizaru is cooler than Thor now.

It wouldn't matter how much he was anticipating if Kizaru was actually fighting constantly at light speed.

Maybe Raleigh precogs wherever Kizaru is going to attack to tag him, let's not forget haki includes limited precognition, and Raleigh knows how to use it.

Thor would probably absorb Kizaru...

Yes, but if Kizaru moved at light speed constantly, he'd hit the area where Rayleigh was precog blocking thanks to Haki, then hit again before Rayleigh could hope to move to block.

Kizaru's effective combat speed is not that insane. We know haki's warning can and have been overcome by sheer speed difference after all, so Rayleigh has to have been at least reasonably close to Kizaru's speed or he'd lose even with haki.
