This is so freaking stupid! Spider-Man got hit in the face by an unsheathed wolverine, DD's has been shown on multiple occasions to be more than a handful for spidey alone, and Cap has taken down some of the heaviest hitters in marvel bar none as well as a few of spidey's villains (rather easily).
i mean WTF is so hard about that?!?!
It's been shown that spider-man idolizes the cap to a level where Spiderman would probably start crying if he had to fight the guy. Based on these facts alone, this teams just too much for spidey to take on by himself short of the power cosmic and that's just the bare truth of the matter. .......damn! this thread is dumb.

Let's look at it this way. Wolverine could lift 800 lbs right? DD's roughly around that area interms of lifting, maybe a little lower.
Granted, these two are fairly agile and fairly fast (particularly DD when comparing the two) but when compared to Spidey's stats it's just not that impressive.
Allow me to further explain, Spidey's a 10-20 tonner and could exceed these levels if it came time to do so (desperate times call for desperate measures, that kind of thing.) He's WAAAAYYYY more agile than they could ever hope to be, and faster. He's more durable when you take away Wolvie's healing factor and when compared to DD you need not take away anything. Wolverine's skull and skeleton are protected with adamantium, but is his stomach? Nope. Would you doubt that Spidey could punch through it therefore and dodge Wolvie's claws as he did it. Wolvie even admitted that if Spidey were to snap his neck it would kill him (Wolvie not Spidey.) And DD, well, all Spidey would have to is speedblitz him and he's out of the picture. Cap. goes down the same way after Spidey disarms him without a second's notice. Remember, everyone's fighting to the best of their abilities which means Spidey's stock rises a great bit. Spidey has rarely if not once or twice fought to the best of his abilities. When he goes all out his speed, strength, stamina, agility, reflexes and his high resistance to injury will prove overwhelming. He may not even need the use of webbing, maybe, but I doubt it. With the spider sense to aid him, the trio is going down and out.

Amen to that Brotha..A good example of unrestrained SM is the Iron Man 2020 fight..beat the crap out of Iron Man...I mean damb..Iron Man didn't even get a shot in....you should look for that issue on google straw..I believe it was Spectacular Annual 7 or 8..good story..and really shows what Spidey can do when fighting at the peak of his abilities...

The future Iron Man shows up to save the kid—who just happens to be the younger version of the terrorist! Blizzard tries to stop him, but Iron Man kills him without thinking twice. He then tries to get the retina pattern, but Spider-Man interferes, and the scanner is destroyed. They battle, simply because Iron Man just doesn't have time to explain himself. Spider-Man thinks that this is the Iron Man from his time, and the clock is ticking...Iron Man only has a little bit of time left to get back to his own time and deactivate the bomb. Bobby is accidentally hurt by flying glass, and Spider-Man flips out. He attacks Iron Man, and delivers a sound beating. At the last minute, Iron Man's damaged armor teleports him back to his own time. Unfortunately, the timing mechanism in the bomb had malfunctioned, and all Iron Man returns to is a giant smoking crater where Stark Enterprises—and his family—once was.

Don't be silly Cap of course they don't! Spidey might find out and then he'll never visit them!
These guys talk about facts, while they completley ignore the ones that don't suit there arguement. Like the fact that Wolvie has punch Spiderman, something that if he had done with his claws out would have easily killed Spidey. Like the fact that DD has gone toe to toe with the the Web-slinger a few times alraedy. Like the fact that Captaim America is the fighting machine and has taken on things way tougher than Spidey.
I'm mildly impressed on Cap's resume when it comes to going against Spider man's foes...(it would be interesting to read the stories..so we know how much of the battle were contrived plot devices or if Captain had assistance..)
But don't forget...the most impressive part about Spider Man going against all of the villians Jk mentioned...is the fact that he has taken on all of them at the same time..(ie the sinister six, syndicate sinister)
I don't know how well the Captain(or Wolverine/Daredevil for that matter) could handle the likes of the Sinister Six by his lonesome...I mean damb..Rhino's close to hulk level strength and durability...and very fast..he alone would be a difficult obstacle to overcome..
Add shocker, hydro man, beetle..Doc Ock and Electro to this equation..and we could almost gaurantee the Captain demise... would .
And if I'm not mistaken..Spider Man has whooped up on Cap/DD/Wolvies foes...He's destroyed the Red Skull on more then one occassion..and let's not even mention the Gladiator and Sabretooth fights..they were way to embarassing..(not for Spidey mind you)

Don't bring up a team that lost due to poor team work. Dock Ock on his own is a far more formidable force than the Sinister Six together because of lack of leadership and too much ego.

If your referring to Spidey beating Cap/Wovie/DD foes..I beg to differ...You and JK have continually stated Cap defeating SM foes..so to counter your argument..I brought up a couple of their opponents that Spidey beat..and believe me..he didn't even struggle against Sabretooth or Red Skull...the battles were very one sided...
You do realize, I hope, Spider-Man has defeated with his bare hands Firelord, a very well written fight - it took him two comics and half of the city was destroyed lol - but an angry Spider-Man took down Firelord.
He also defeated Titania, who will eat DD, Cap and Wolverine for breakfast. He put up a very good fight against Morlun (probably Hulk level) and defeated him with his brains. He beat Rhino (not Hulk level, but not far from it) several times, at least two times with his fists only.
He has fought the Hulk countless times, and even humiliated an extremely angry Hulk...
He ripped apart the armor of the future Iron Man. He even gave Silver Surfer a serious run for his money, though in the end, he was of course defeated, like 90 % of the characters will get their ass kicked by SS. But he put up a very good fight, better than one would think. Please tell me, what are DD, Cap and Wolverine going to do to Silver Surfer ?
Spider-Man always holds back when fighting low level villains or heroes such as DD and Captain America. This is a fact. When he goes berserk however, he can hang out with the Big Guys (for a good while). Cap, DD and Wolverine are NOT big guys.
Spider-Man's enemies are on a much higher level than those of Cap, DD and Wolverine (speaking about raw power, not intelligence).
