as far as i can see thread still say's "Spiderman vs. Captain America/Daredevil/Wolverine" doesn't mention shield anywhere...... it also say's they get all their usual weapons.......doesn't say they can call in their friends with extra weapons............. guess i'm not familiar with team spidey logic

Personally, I think supporters from both sides shouldn't mention WHO a character beat up...but HOW they beat them up.
Spiderman beating Firelord is PIS, but Spiderman zooming around hitting Firelord from all angles IS part of Spiderman's character.
and LordFear...I'd like you to provide some support for what you're claiming because I think if you actually visit some of those threads, you'll see that the voting in most of the scenarios you named are extremely one sided.

Furthermore is u take a look at their combined power levels right on marvel.com add up their stats and figure out who the winner Should be. I have read threads in the past in this forum and no other where fans have disregarded stats, comic references and just gone by pure popularity in stating that SM could smash Hulk, Im and Juggernaut. If you need proof just reference back to previous comic forums with such headings as SM VS IM etc you will find what I am saying to be so.

I actually don't find that arc all that non-credible. It's all just a matter of how long spidey was hitting away at firelord. Altough i don't agree with the overall outcome, i won't discard that he did it.
Spider-man has never beaten the hulk to myknowledge,,,,well once but that was with the power cosmic so it really doesn't count.
personally i don't think spidey should be able to do more than annoy hulk or juggernaut, iron man?....... if IM was to use up all his energy somehow (don't ask me how) and only had his strength to fight with (no energy shields or blasts) then i could see spidey breaking him down...... but with a full power IM he can only try to dodge for as long as possible........... he could outlast him in stamina terms ............. like the guy who get's thrown into the Colosseum in monty python's life of brian who just runs around until the gladiator tires and has a heart attack
