Marvel has completely f*cked up their new Marvel Universe power rating chart.
A strength level of 4 means they can lift anywhere between 800 lbs and 25 tons.
What the hell's the point with even listing such vague descriptions????
Wolverine supposedly can lift 800 lbs. Wolverine is a 4.
Captain America can lift 800 lbs. yet he is listed as 3.
A 3 in strength means they can lift twice their body weight.
Since when is Captain America only able to lift 480 lbs.????
See what I mean, it's horribly innacurate.

Jinzin make no mistake. I never mentioned about the writers. They have artistic freedom therefore can dictate the outcome of a story to their whim. I speak of the Marvel folks who know these characters in and out because they help shape and mold their fictional lives.
Scoobles you only prove my theory about people not taking in the whole story but just voting for a character based on popularity. I mean it's like saying a civilian could somehow beat a trained Black Ops agent in hand to hand combat because that's essentially what would happen in a fight between SM AND LOGAN

Now as for you Zahit in regards to your statement about civilian. No I don't compare Parker to a civilian but I do compare his experience in field combat as civilian like. This is an adolescent kid who got bit by a radioactive spider and gains superhuman abilities. Now how old was Parker when that happened? No one accounts for the experience factor in a fight anymore? Can u begin to even argue that Logan can't defeat Parker in a fight?C'mon man u are seriously underestimating our Canuck here
I know A LOT about both characters. I've read the VAST MAJORITY
of both Amazing Spiderman & X-Men/Wolverine books that have ever
come out. Spiderman is WAY more stronger, agile, faster than Wolverine.
Not to mention spider-sense, webs, intelligence.
Yes Logan's fighting skills and experience are awesome,
but Spiderman outclasses him in every aspect except healing and bones.
Spiderman can lift 10 tons. Did you forget that? He's around 25 times
stronger than Wolverine. Add that with all the other advantages....
In a recent issue, he webbed Wolverine in an alley and he COULD NOT
break free. His fists were webbed to his skull.
Perhaps your the one underestimating Spiderman.

you want to talk about whole stories? why don't read the thread you're laying down your judgement upon? too much for you? i wasn't here at the start of this discussion but i got here at page 18 (and since then i have gone over the earlier posts) and have posted multiple scenarios as to how spider-man could win, i've also stated i believe the trio could take him but i give the majority of the outcomes to spider-man............. so check your facts before you mouth off in future!
as for a civilian beating a black ops agent........it could happen....... maybe not often but special forces guy's are still only human and have the same weaknesses as the rest of us, it is not inconceivable for them to lose to a "civilian"
but as most people know, comparing "spider-man v's wolverine" to "black ops v's average man" are not close to being equivalent situations....... sure wolvy has training but spidey has many other advantages over him........ advantages i'm sure you don't need repeated as you have obviously gone through at least one bio on each of the two to make your earlier statement

i'll give you a battle plan against wolvy
they start, spidey jumps clear of wolvy's claws (easily) while in mid jump back covers wolvy with wide sprayed web
wolvy struggles, tries to cut web
spidey reinforces web until wolvy can't move his arms
spidey covers wolvy's mouth and nose with web and suffocates him
there's a spidey victorious scenario........... and he didn't even have to land a punch
