Wolverine can not slash him if he does not get close to them SM is not dumb he knows he is out numbered he knows Wolverines claws and caps shield can cut him.Why would he take the risk of get in close and fight one person wile a another can cut him from behind.If he where to fight all three using his hands it would be him bouncing from wall to wall hitting the in between his jump at speeds faster then they can react to hit him(not dodge or block him because they still can probably do that.)

I've given this one some thought so bear with me. It really doesn't matter how many pictures are posted because the good guys always win. Period. All these guys are good guys so they won't be depicted as not being able to handle any and every situation they're in and they always scrape through somehow even if it's by dumb luck.(Spidey probably holds the record for dumb luck saves) The question is not "how many times have these guys survived something that they shouldn't"
because they will always survive everything somehow in the pages. In the pages they are all immortal. Give all four mortality in these threads and now the question is "Who will be the last man standing?" Cap and DD will not recover from any full force blow that Spidey delivers when their comic book immortality is removed. Spidey's advantages are staggering due to his ability to predetermine every attack coming at him and counter it as it is delivered. That is not humanly possible and only Daredevil has the similar yet inferioir "radar" and that can't keep him from escaping the undeniably superhuman speed of Spidey. Spidey's aim is superhuman as well( Amazing fantasies #1) and he has two web shooters. Dodging the web with ease is laughable and it sets up extremely fast otherwise it would be useless in most situations and even web slinging would be dangerous. Spidey vs Wolverine is a joke as Spidey stated during the secret wars( And the Secret Wars was not just a spidey promotion campaign Spidey has humiliated the X-men once when Wolvey wasn't around) Wolverines skills are undeniable but his attack radius is extremely limited when compared to Spidey's. His strength doesn't come close and sorry to say it but strengh and speed are relative. Spidey has Superhuman speed and Wolverine has somewhat enhanced speed( honed by training too) Bottom line, if what spidey said is true and wolvy is faster than him then he should have been able stop him by himself in the secret wars battle, he even had help. The only enhancement Wolvey has gotten since then ( correct me if I'm wrong) is a popularity boost that gives him the power to get up from blows from the hulk ( even thugh he should have been out cold with a concussion and needing some heal up time) hang with spidey, and survive get ripped apart by magneto.( something that should have killed him not send his healing factor into overdrive) But I'm glad he got said boost because it made him even cooler than he was before and that's sayin somethin. Sad to say though that head to head Wolverine only has his skills,claws and inferior speed and strength to bring to the
fight while Spidey has his skills,webs,spider-sense,wall crawling,superior speed, and vastly superior strength. Before Spidey made the statement about Wolvy being faster than him he stated that wolverine was a joke. If you believe one statement from the mouth of Spidey you might as well

there is no way that character powers remain consistent through the many writers that get their hands on a particular character. one day wolverine is just plain "really fast", the next hes so fast human eyes can't even see him, and the day after that, hes fast enough to kick spidey's ass. and on some really really special days he posses magical powers that can mess with spideys head and make him slow. on those days he can also fly, figure skate, cook, and speak to trees.
wolverine and captain america are ridiculously over used characters whose popularity makes it in marvels interest to portray them as real hardcore badasses (which i guess they are) who basically cant be beaten. this is just plain ridiculous. to not recognize that this is going on and to attribute their sometimes preposterous victories to some kind of "skill" or whatever, and to include these events as "history" is foolish. this is why i like cap and wolverine less and less. what is so difficult about keeping a characters limits roughly constant? oh wait, telling stories about them would then require some level of skill rather than relying on cheap thrills to please fans.
the fact is, it does rougly come down to human vs superhuman. thats the point of being superhuman. like ive said before (long time ago), i doubt that spidey will be able to beat all three of these characters. it might happen, but in most cases i think he will lose. but to hear people argue about whether cap or DD could take spidey alone is just not right. they would stand no chance. it doesnt matter what some random issue showed. each writer creates their own version of a character. apparently there is a version of DD that can withstand a punch from the Hulk. maybe that version could take spidey. before the debate continues, i think we should all agree on just what abilities each character has.

I agree with a lot of what unregisteredMAN said except for the part about
spidey having trouble with the trio. At the beginning of this battle it's stated that Spidey will use any means neccesary. That sounds like a battle to the death to me and Spidey is more capable of delivering quick kills than even wolverine. Someone said it before"gut snatching" It's not consistent to make a killer out of Spidey but those are the conditions of the fight. Spidey can swing a five foot long piece of rebar as fast as you or I could swing a switchblade and probably faster. Humans at their peak
are still very very fragile while Spidey is not fragile inside to outside. He can even hold his breath far longer than a regular human proving that even his lungs have been enhanced proportionately. Wolverine is the only hope they have and his brain is as fragile as an AVERAGE, not peak, AN AVERAGE humans brain cause last time I checked you can't make your brain tougher through any form of training.
